"You're late Miss Who?'' 

How great i thought. '' I'm so sorry Sir and its Aalia Kapoor. I lost my way'' I said in the most sugar coated voice.

''Oh New Girl! Its okay come in and introduce yourself to the class'' 

I was ready for this.Looking at the curious people i entered inside and stood at the front. There was a guy who was smiling ridiculously sweetly which actually gave me some self confidence, and i smiled back and began.

"Hello everyone I'm Aalia Kapoor and I'm from St.Joseph Academy , Dehradun , India. Let's be good to each other and i look forward to know you guys."

I said smiling widely and then the teacher looked around the room to find me a seat.He scanned the room and looked at the second last row where there was a seat empty right next to the smiley boy.

"Miss Kapoor you can sit next to Mister Wilson."

As soon as I sat i was welcomed by him by his smile, I couldn't help but smile back. His smile was really infectious. The lecture started and we were doing Shakespeare's Much Ado. We were not even halfway through the class but this person at the back was busy chewing away his chewing gum right next to my ear.I ignored it at first but then it was getting on my nerves. I snapped up and looked behind and lo and behold it was none other than Shane Man!

"We meet again miss down to earth" He smirked

That smirk of his was so annoying I just wanted to swipe it off. I remember i had promised not to get in trouble with anyone and therefore i smiled sweetly and said

"Hey,buddy I don't think that you would like to waste your money by paying fine for chewing gum in class,would you?"

He was shocked and then i turned around patting myself on my back with my imaginary hand.

Smiley boy looking equally shocked said

"Oh My God! You're so cool! You shut off Shane Cooper! Kudos to you, by the way I'm Nathan"
He extended his hand.

"Nice name! I wasn't being cool I was just reminding him the school rules" i said acting innocent.

"Whatever you may say Aalia, uhm would you like to join our table at the cafeteria during lunch? I mean, if you want'' Nathan said this and he looked so cute when he was nervous.

"Yeah sure! Thanks i will '' I said smiling

Then the bell rang and everyone started moving.

"See you later miss cool" he smiled.

"Yeah Smiley boy" i said.
 
He looked amused. I asked him

" Do you have any idea where calculus class is?"

" Yeah it is on the next wing on the left corridor and then the between corridor and then left then right "

"Woah! This school is surely big, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it is. You can go along with Angela and her friends"
He said this and called after a really pretty girl. She seemed to be Asian and looked super cute in her white casual dress.

She came and then I asked her

"Hey can we go to calcus together?" I smiled

"Yeah sure Aalia! That's how you pronounce it,right?"

"Thank you! Yes, Aalia is the name."

"Let's get going then, Bye Nathan."

"Bye and thanks Nathan" I said

"Thank god you guys remembered I was standing here. I thought that you guys forgot the friend maker" Nathan said.

We laughed and then went on  towards calculus class.

On the way Angela talked about how she was so excited to introduce me to her friend circle. We really bonded well not just because we both were Asians but also because she was such a nice and friendly person.

Avlohn High is going to be interesting.
