Chapter 3: Suspicion Kills

Part 3! 

"Get up, get up, get uh-up!" Skylar said in a singsongy tone. 

Jenna tossed and turned before actually getting up. 

"Come on, let's get ready for school so we can get there early to investigate!" Jenna said cheerfully. 

Skylar nodded , then they both got ready.

"Okay bye mom!" Skylar said while getting out of the car. 

"Bye girls! See you after school."  

Jenna and Skylar hopped out of their red SUV and headed into the school. 

"So how are we going to investigate?" Jenna asked as they were walking down the empty halls. 

"We'll just ask people , anything they know about Andrew and what he was doing. And of course the evidence."  

They continued to walk down the hall until Jenna came to a stop. 

"What is it?" Skylar asked. 

"How come no one is at school?" Jenna asked. 

Skylar looked very confused. "Because it's early. Remeber we drove here early?"  

"Of course we left early and I knew that. But do you realize how long we've been walking in the hallways? The only people besides us in the school, are the teachers."  

Skylar checked her watch. 8:39. 

"It's 10 minutes after the bell," Skylar said dazed. "This is getting suspicious." 

"Come on let's go to Princepal Hasder. Now." Jenna grabbed Skylar's wrist and she ran to the main office. 

But before they could arrive, Princepal Hasder stopped them. 

"Great! Princepal Hasder, we need to talk to y-" Skylar was interuppted. 

" You two. In my office. Now." He said with an urgent tone. 

All three of them speed-walked to the main office. Princepal Hasder had them sit on two rusty old chairs in front of his desk. Princepal Hasder was pacing in front of them. 

"What were you two thinking! I thought you were trustworthy!" he said while hitting the desk. Everything was in the air for a second. 

"What are you talking about?" Jenna asked. 

"Oh, you know what I'm talking about. Andrew Paebon's murder. We believe you two did it."  

Skylar looked insulted. "We'd NEVER do anything like that! Just because we love horror, scaryness, and halloween, it doesn't mean that we'd be cruel enough to murder our classmate!" Skylar said angrily. 

"You two will be asked questions tomorrow at the police station. Be there 9:30am sharp."  

And with that, Princepal Hasder left.
