Avalon's pov

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon... BACON! Oh my gosh, anyone who knows me knows I have an obsession with bacon. I rushed downstairs and plopped myself on a barstool in the kitchen.

"well good morning to you too" the curls said.

"I really need to learn your names"

"you mean you don't know our names?" the blonde one i sang to last night asked.

I admited that I didn't know their names and that i called them 'the curls, blondie, quiff, puppy, and suspenders'. They just laughed at me. The curls introduced himself as Harry, blondie as Niall, quiff as Zayn, puppy as Liam and suspenders as Louis.

"i'll try to remember that" i said shoving a peice of bacon in my mouth. The Curls, also called Harry took a peice of bacon off of my plate and ate it. "oh no you didn't!" i shouted as i chased him upstairs. He ran into the guest room and I started beating him with a pillow. "DONT. TOUCH. MY. BACON. YOU. THEIF." i shouted, than casually walked back downstairs and continued my breakfast. The other four boys looked at me in shock.

"what?" i asked.

"nothing" they said in unison.

well okay than...

The day was pretty boring so after dinner I suggested we play truth or dare.

"harry, truth or dare?" I asked.

"truth"

"will you ever eat my bacon again?"

"well maybe" he said cheekily. ugh i hate him.

"Avalon truth or dare?" Niall asked.

"dare"

"i dare you to sing."

crap. i didn't want to sing in front of them, but i didn't want to sleep on the trampoline.

"hold on" i said as i ran to get my guitar. I came back a few minutes later. "ready?" nods came from everyone.

The wind blows through your hair

As you're walking people stare

Up the block and down the street to North King's highway

And there's a beating in my chest

And it's seeming to suggest

That before this day is through it might go my way

And so I sit back in my seat

I scribble down something that's sweet about a boy

A girl

An endless stretch of scenery

'Cause it's like falling to your knees before a stranger on the street

I did it just the other day

You should have seen me

Oh

And I wanna remember this night

And how my words never came out right

It's just my patience that keeps me alive

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

There's something to be said about the colors in your head

And how they mix to form the perfect shade of sadness

Not because of things I've done or any of the songs I've sung

It's just the story of our lives

We wish we had this

Oh

And I wanna remember this night

And how my words never came out right

It's just my patience that keeps me alive

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

And I remember we stayed up way past your bedtime

Up on the second floor

Down by my sliding door

Just innocent kids in a victimless crime

Trapped in a metaphor

Hoping for something more

And I wanna remember this night

And how my words never came out right

It's just my patience that keeps me alive

Oh

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

Oh

And I wanna remember this night

And how my words never came out right

It's just my patience that keeps me alive

Oh

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

In the sky

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

In the sky

Just like all those pretty lights

Just like all the pretty lights in the sky

I stopped and looked around at the stares i got from the boys. "well i'm gonna go to my room and watch a movie, bye." i said getting up and running to my room. Tears stained my face as I crawled in my bed. I wrote that song about Jesse, and I just missed him so much. I heard my door open and I thought it was my dad coming to say good night. Nope. It was Niall.

"why are you crying?" he asked. silence. "look at me" i tilted my head up and my eyes met his blue ones. He pressed his lips against mines and for a brief moment i felt happy. As he got up to leave i grabbed his hand and whispered "stay with me"
