I step out of the door and am welcomed by the cold crispy wind of winter. A shiver runs down my spine and I stuff my hands in the coat pockets. Walking down the stairs, I look at the streets filled with snow. They feel so empty. I sigh and turn right, walking next door. Before I even get the chance to knock, the door is opened. He is dressed up in dark blue wash jeans and black coat matched with a white muffler.

"Who's my favorite sister in the whole wide world?" He grins and hugs me tightly, crushing my petite body in his arms.

"Aa..ron.... need... air", I wheeze out. He lets me go and chuckles. I laugh and shake my head at him.

"I thought I was your favorite sister", Karen comes up next to Aaron and nudges his side. She had straight dark brown hair, high cheekbones and eyes almost the same color as her hair. She looks exotic as always with her violet lace dress, which reached till her knees, matched with white strappy heels and white coat.

"Oh you are. The bestest sister that no one can ever dream of." He smiles at Karen and kisses her cheek.

"That's not even a word, Aar", she smiles up at him.

"And that just proves you are out of this world" He grins cheekily at us and we laugh at his goofiness.

"You look so beautiful, Kay", I hug Karen and she giggles. I let her go and step back. "You too, Savannah", she smiles at me.

"Happy New Year's Eve, guys", Aaron says and grins at us.

"Aaron, how many times are you gonna say that now? You wished in the morning when I came to meet up with you guys along with Ivory and also when you called me in the evening", I tell him chuckling.

He laughs, "It's more effective now. You see new year is just two and a half hour away. I'm extremely excited, especially for Finnick's party. His parties are the best. All the heat, booze... girls", he sighs dreamily. "So are we going or not? It's already late. Ian must be waiting for us at the party."

"Girls are all you think of, don't you? Anyways let's head out." I give him a small smile and step out the door.

"When are Wes and Britt coming back from their date?" I ask them with a small smile. I love Wes and Britt, they are wonderful parents and you can see how immensely they love each other. Unlike some people.
I mentally sigh at the thought and push it at the back of my mind.

"They said that they will be back in the morning", Karen replies while closing the door.

My phone buzzes and I take it out. "Ivy is ready. I told her we will reach in 10", I inform Karen.

"Oh thank God! I thought we would have to wait for a millennia for her to get all dolled up, just like the previous time", Aaron sighs in relief.

I laugh and hit his arm playfully, "It was just 10 or 15 minutes. You talk as if she took a whole year to get ready."

"When it comes to her, it does feel like that", he rolls his eyes and walks up to his Black and Yellow Ferrari in the driveway.

"You guys are really something. Always complaining about each other", Karen says while smiling secretively, like she knows a huge secret.

I know what she's thinking and I couldn't agree more. Ivy and Aaron, gosh, they are always arguing but it looks more of a couple bickering, than two people fighting because they hate each other's guts.
I nod my head in agreement, "True that."
