"Are you sure you want to shoot today? I really don't think it's a good idea." Anthony said, concern thick in his voice as he helped button Ian's maternity jeans since Ian could no longer see or reach that far down anymore because of his massive 40 week stomach.
"Yeah. I've been feeling really anxious about not going to into labor yet and I really think that a shooting day will help ease my mind. Plus, all of the walking and stuff might help me go into labor." Anthony was concerned about Ian working this late into his pregancy, but he knew there was little he could say to change Ian's mind.
"Alright, but you know the drill. If anything feels even the slightest bit off, let me know." Ian rolled his eyes at his protective husband.
"I will." After they had everything they needed and made sure that Daisy and Pip had food and water, they headed towards the door. Ian furrowed his eyebrows when he saw the light green safari themed diaper bag on Anthony's shoulder.
"What are you doing with the hospital bag?"
"I'm bringing it just incase you go into labor while we're gone. You are two weeks past your due date and have been drinking a lot of that raspberry leaf tea, so you never know." Ian shrugged his shoulders.
"Alright, but I don't think we'll be needing it. I haven't even had a contraction today."
"It's always a good idea to be prepared even if you're sure that you don't need to be." Ian fanned his hand towards the door.
"Alright, whatever. Let's go before we miss our flight."

Anthony was in the middle of recording a shot with Noah and Shayne in Anthony's old bedroom while Ian, and Ryan sat on the couch in the living room, watching Anthony and Noah act from the monitors they had sat up on the coffee table. In the middle of the scene, Ian felt his first Braxton Hicks contraction of the day. Following his normal routine, Ian changed positions, gulped down a bottle of water, and looked down to the watch on his right wrist, making note of the time before continuing on with his work. Ian was not expecting another contraction for at least an hour or so, but was surprised when another one hit him exactly eight minutes later and it was stronger than previous one, causing him to squeeze his eyes shut and let out a quiet, painful groan. After it had passed, Ian looked down to his watch and cursed under his breath, changing positions again and drinking even more water. After having three more strong contractions, Ian decided to tell Anthony about them.
"Anthony, I'm having some pretty intense contractions." Ian said, wiping some sweat off of his brow. Worry washed over Anthony's face.
"Are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?" Ian shook his head.
"Yeah I'm fine. I don't need to go anywhere just yet. I'm going to wait it out for a while to see if they subside. They're intense, but not nearly as bad as what I felt VidCon night." One look at Anthony's face and anybody could tell that he was not happy with Ian's plan.
"Why not just go now? I'm afraid that you're going to give birth to our son right here on the couch if we don't go now." Ian chuckled and shook his head.
"I just want to be sure that it's really labor before we go. I don't want to pay another useless medical bill." Anthony shook his head in disagreement, but let Ian have his way.
"Alright then. Keep timing your contractions and if anything happens, you let me know immediately."
"I will." After telling Anthony about his contractions, they seemed to subside. They were still coming in every eight to seven minutes apart, but they were now weaker and not very painful at all. Ian was feeling pretty confident about his decision to not go to the hospital, but his confidence soon faltered when he got the worst contraction he had ever felt. The pain was near to unbearable, his hands balling up into fists and banging on the couch as he audibly groaned in pain. Somewhere in the middle of Ian's intolerable pain came a sensation of dampness from in between his legs. His water had broken. He looked down and saw his jeans turn a darker color, his contraction still running through his body with the force of a jumbo jet. At that point, Ian knew that he had to get to the hospital.
