I went downstairs again and told my mum and my dad:
,,Actually, there is something want you to do for me."
,,What is it honey?" mum asked.
,,Make sure, that I won't be going to that school." I said bossy.
,,But Becca, you know we can't do this!?" said dad puzzled.
,,Nothing is impossible, dad. End of discussion." I said and rushed upstairs before they could say anything else.
It is 12:00 pm. 9 hours left. I laid down on my bed, my eyes focused on the ceiling. I heard my parents debating about it and then there was silence.
The door to my room opened. It's mum. I am not surprised she is not happy.
,,Becca McGregor. You are going to military school and this won't change. Your dad called the school and they said it is a government law that can't be broken. Besides, there is a girl, approximately your age was in your school her name is Megan. She is now in military school, too."
I remember Megan. We were in the same class. She is mean and nasty. She doesn't like me and I don't like her, too. So there is no way we could be friends.
Mum went out my room and shut the door loudly. She was angry. I was hopeless. I curled myself sadly on the bed, tears falling one after the other. My life would change forever. I thought which made me cry even harder.
It is 6:00 pm. I fell asleep.
,,Wake up." said mum still angry.
I woke up and I was so tired. It was 7:00pm. I went downstairs and ate dinner. Then I sat silently on the couch with them and when it got boring, I headed to my room. It is 7:30.
I jumped on my bed and tried to sleep but I couldn't. It is the last day in the house.
I closed my eyes slowly hoping there will be no bad dreams.
* I am in military school. We start exercise at 5:30am and finish at 7:00pm every day. I am in the middle of an exercise. I have to jump through a burning hoop. It is my first time.
The girl in front of me ran and jumped through the hoop and she made it. Not one single flame touched her.
It is my turn now. I am shaking. I took a deep breath and ran. I jumped through the hoop. A flame caught my clothes. My clothes are burning. No one came to help me. It touched my skin. I was hurt and I couldn't do anything. I was burning and fell on the floor dead.*
