Chapter eleven

I had no choice but to open the door of the bathroom. I found Stephanie standing and staring at her broken perfume bottle. She raise her head and I found out that she had been crying because her mascara was all over her face.
,, what's gotten in to you ? You don't just open the door like that. Are you carry?"
She said angrily but her voice was shaking.
,, I'm sorry. It's my fault. I shouldn't have checked upon you." I said wanting to pop out of anger. Stephanie rolled her eyes and tears began gathering in her eyes. She left the broken bottle on the floor and sat her on her bed crying.
,, The thing is I never wanted to come here. You cannot believe how hard I tried to stop my parents from sending me here..This is a special case. I wasn't chosen from the government. My parents sent me here because they thought I am useless. The thought I don't have a value."
I was speechless.
,,Sorry Stephanie. I never knew. But why did you sneak in the principal's office."
I asked.
,, I was trying to take the keys of the gate so I can escape but I couldn't since the dog chased me." She said still crying.

I looked at Emma surprised. Them Emma looked at Stephanie and asked:
,,But why are you acting all rude and stuff..?"

,,I didn't want to make friends because when I escape *somehow* I wouldn't be sad for leaving you." She said.

I looked at her, feeling the way she feels.
,,Stephanie, you will be alright here. We are all your friends. Don't worry."
She had a smile on her face. Then I looked to Emma so she can cheer her up, too.

,, It's okay. We are by your side."

,,Thank you, girls" Stephanie said with a warm smile.
