Lizzie pushed me in the back. "Well go on then," she whispered in my ear.
I smirked, then walked straight up to Sirius, who was talking to a group of Ravenclaw girls from the year above.
He looked up as I approached, and the girls fell silent, glaring at me. If looks could kill...
"Hey Black, can I talk to you a sec?"
The glares being thrown at me were burning holes through my skull. Playing up a bit, I took his hand and pulled him up from the table with a giggle that sounded nothing like mine. Too high pitched for one thing. Sirius seemed to catch on what I was doing and followed my lead, grinning and waving to the girls as we walked into the entrance hall and into an alcove.
As soon as we were out of the girls sight, I dropped his hand, and pushed him into the alcove. Sirius was grinning at me.
"What's the matter Ellis? Can't resist my amazing looks?" He flipped his hair as though to prove a point.
"Shut up Sirius. I wanna talk to you."
"Well no..."
"Shut up!"
"Okay, my lips are sealed." Sirius pretended to zip his mouth shut, then folded his arms and lent against the wall. I tried not to hyperventilate.
"So, you know the party that you're not going to...?"
Sirius did not change his posture, but his eyes had become guarded. "What about it?"
"What are you gonna be doing instead?"
Sirius sighed. "Ellis I told you I can't tell you."I looked down and batted my eyelashes. "Please?"
"Sorry."Well that's embarrassing. "Why not?"
His answer was simple. "It's not my secret to tell." And I knew from that that I wouldn't get anymore out of him.

-Lizzie-
"GO JAMES!"
"WHOO POTTER!"
"TAKE THAT SNIVELLY!"I looked up from my book to see Ellis's cousin James surrounded by a cheering crowd. A greasy haired boy was in the middle and by the looks of it had been stunned. James raised his wand and the crowd, which was generally made up of girls, screamed with mirth. The boy now had green hair and a jester hat on. The wand was waved again and the boy woke up from being stunned, then realising what had happened, he began yelling but was stopped abruptly by Sirius Black, who had just arrived at the scene and hit him with another jinx. His face looked annoyed, and when he and James turned away from the crowd, James checking for Lily Evans beforehand, to mutter to each other. This could not be good.
Ellis approached them from the castle. I waved to her, but I don't think she saw me. Her face was even more annoyed. Oh dear. She stormed right up to James, him ruffling his hair cutely so it was an adorable mess. I know what you're thinking, oh girl just lay off, but I can't. I mean, I know he is Ellis's cousin, but that doesn't mean anything. James obviously has a crush on me. Obviously.
-James-
Ellis stormed up to Sirius and I, saying, "Can I talk to you?" before dragging me off anyway. I ruffled my hair, making it look cooler, and took one last look at Lily. Her red hair was so nice... her green eyes were like emeralds. One of Ellis's friends was staring at me, I couldn't help feeling a bit creeped out. She had been doing that for about half and hour. And I hadn't seen her blink. Creepy, yes?
I looked back at my cousin, who had now stopped walking and faced me with folded arms and raised eyebrows. What did I do now?
"Hey Ellis."
