I get out of bed and look at my clock , it's 12:21. I put down my book and get dressed. I say a quick goodbye to my sister.

"Mom I'm going out for a bit" I yell and go out.

I start walking towards Starbucks, I reach there in 7 minutes. The smell of coffee greets me as I step in. It's not as crowded as it usually is. I order a caramel frappe and cinnamon roll for myself and black iced tea for Jane. I take our orders and find a seat next to a window. I look out, it's a beautiful day, it's drizzling and the raindrops are sticking to the window.

After a couple minutes I see her coming in, I quickly smile and wave my hand. I take in her appearance she is wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a white crop top which says NERD. She has her brown her in a messy ponytail. And there is a glow on her face, no makeup a real glow.

"Heyyyy" she nearly shouts with excitement on seeing me and a few heads turn to look at us.

"Hey" I say curiously and hug her.

"Okay now tell me what is it?" I ask I patiently.

" Blake asked me out" she says in her 'I don't care it's no big deal voice' but I know better. She is freaking out.

"About time!" I say with a knowing smirk plastered on my face.

"Hey show some excitement I've been crushing on the guy for-"

"2 years" I cut in rolling my eyes.

My best friend has been crazy about him ever since she first saw him. You know that love at first sight bullshit something like that.

Flashback

I sit on the last table with Jane and Ellie (my other best friend) in English when a boy walks into class, like almost instantly all heads turn towards him. He has brown eyes, black hair and the body of a god. You can easily make out his abs through his tight t-shirt. He looks good.

All the other girls in class are literally drooling including Jane and Ellie. I roll my eyes, seriously it's just a guy, I mean a fucking hot guy but still just a guy and anyways I already have the best boyfriend ever.

Mr Anderson introduces him as Blake Hensley and tells him to sit next to Rachel, our student body president. He looks at Jane and smiles. Jane quickly looks away blushing, and he smiles. That is when I knew young love is blooming.

Flashback over

Ever since that day I knew Jane was head over heels for that guy and so was he. But both of them were stubborn idiots and never confessed their feelings. Literally everyone knew except them. People can be really oblivious.

"Hey" Jane says waving her hand in front of my face snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh ya sorry I zoned out what were you saying?" I ask absentmindedly

"You really need to stop zoning out " she says
