You laid there in your own spot, sleeping in a peaceful state. Ears twitching ever once in awhile as you continued sleeping. The trees swayed above you gently before morning soon came. Feeling heat on your fur, you slowly came into a conscious state. Groaning, you slowly opened your eyes before flinching slightly as the sun shined into one of them. Slowly lifting up your head, you let out a high-pitched yawn before smacking your chomps a little bit. Getting up, you stretched yourself out before looking towards the entrance of your den. As you walked over towards the entrance, you soon left your haven and sat down in the front of your haven, looking down upon your kingdom.
Everything seemed to be at ease. Looking around, you soon turned your head towards the east with narrowed eyes. Your eyes sight went beyond the trees towards the certain open plains where the humans and forbidden beasts that ate the humans resigned in. There a certain familiar woman stood outside the entrance of the forest while shouting and holding up a piece of meat in her hand as she looked into the forest. You let out a wolfish sigh and shook your head before turning around and went back into your cave, ignoring the faint shouts of the woman.
Only after awhile did you get annoyed and decided to see what the human want. Standing up, you looked towards the entrance before turning around fully. Stepping back a few, you soon charged and jumped out of your haven and down towards the ground of the forest. Landing with a loud crash, you step out the small dent you made in the earth before heading towards the area where the woman was, a dark aura surrounding you as you made your way through you precious kingdom.

It was hot as she stood in her spot, waving the piece of meat in the air. Exhausted even from trying everything in her will to gain the attention of the wolf. Breathing heavily, she stood there waving the still fresh piece of meat around in the air while hoping the beast would come. The only thing that didn't make this a full proof plan was that she came alone with nothing but her horse and the piece of meat. For she feared that the others would do more than want attention from the beast. Sighing, she slowly let her arms fall down to her side as she stared at the forest with a frown. She searched for the beast's eyes but found nothing but the darkness. "Is he not coming back?", She asked herself. Looking around still, she frowned more before sighing and turned around to go back to her horse, only to stop when she heard loud footsteps coming towards her. Stopping by her horse, she heard it whine and buck out of distress. Breathing shakily, she slowly turned her head and gazed over her shoulder to see the same glowing eyes staring back at her.
She gaped at in in shock before smiling and quickly ran towards it. The eyes didn't show any emotions as they stared at her coldly. Stopping right in front of it, she stared up at it with a wide grin before holding out the meat. "I know its not much but here you go big guy.", she said and smiled. It stared at her before its eyes narrowed into slits, growling before slowly going towards her. Walking towards her, it continued growling out lowly. Hanji continued smiling while a bead of sweat rolled down the side of her temple. Not doing anything, she half expect it to go over and eat her except it did the exact opposite. It went towards her horse and harshly bite it, making the horse squeal in pain.
Hanji looked at it in shock and horror. She watched it devour her horse in whole, all that was left was the saddle as it turned and disappeared back into the forest. She stood there, staring at the beast before quickly running after it. "Wait! Where am I suppose to go now?", she shouted, frowning. It didn't stop at all and continued on walking, making Hanji stare at it in disbelief before frowning and ran towards it. "Hey! Now that wasn't nice! You can't just eat my horse and expect me to have a back- *gasp*", she was soon backing away from it as it began growling at her out of annoyance. Nervous, she backed up a good distance away from it and sighed before looking down with a frown.
The beast stared at her before turning around and walked away, leaving her. She stood there for a while before she felt it grab her by her cape, picking her up and turned around. Hanji blinked a few times before gasping excitedly as she was carried away, giggling out of excitement.
