Chapter 7

She knew it was only a matter of time before they found Hanji in the cell instead of her being there, she had to move fast if she wanted to get back to her forest quickly but that was said easier than done. Leaning up against the wall, she watched them walk around and talking as she maneuvered her way passed them. It was hard considering this place was really big and she had a hard time finding the right path to take. Walking, she looked around cautiously before finding a couple of doors along the way. She didn't risk her freedom looking into them and kept herself focus on leaving, that was until she past by a door where she heard two familiar voices speaking."Are you even sure we can put our trust in that brat?""I can't really say. If she is willing to help us kill off the Titans than yes." She was interested now and leaned more into the door slightly, listening."How can you trust it so freely?""Well, she gave me reasons. She didn't seemed to worry about us much and from what I've seen so far, she seems pretty intelligent. She may even have answers to some of our questions.", she heard. She frowned at this and glared at the door. How can that human put more trust in her than her own kind? It felt, foreign to her but gave her a sense of pride also. That was until what she heard next."Tch Are you even sure the brat even have those answers?"". . . We'll just have to see." The door soon opened up and out came Levi. His eyes narrowed down at the ground as he stood there for a moment before letting out another scoff and walked away. She carefully came out of the door next to a few feet away, looking around before quietly coming out of. She was glad that it was one of those rooms humans called a closet. Dusting the imaginary dust off herself she looked back over to the door and frowned.". . . You humans. . . are odd", she mumbled before continuing on her way.

Hanji let out another soft sigh before hearing the door open again. Blinking, she quickly sat up and grabbed onto the bars while she looked out from between them. "Huh? Oh, shorty! Over here!", Hanji shouted while giggling. She smiled but that smile was quickly replaced by a frown as she noticed Levi's face.

"Tch, and Bushy Eyebrows were so worried about getting the brat's trust when she had slipped past our own fucking noises.", Levi grumbled. He rubbed the bridge of his nose in irritation as he continued talking to Hanji behind bars. Hanji continued trying to get Levi's attention but he really didn't want to hear any lame excuses of being trapped in the prisoner's jail instead of the prisoner. Sighing, he turned to leave but stopped when she grabbed onto the back of his cape.

"Hey, Shorty. . . Listen to me.", she pleaded.

". . . *Sigh* What is it shitty glasses?", he asked, irritated.

". . . Don't be harsh on her.", Hanji said.

Levi was surprised at Hanji's response but didn't show it. He raised an eyebrow, turning around to her fully as if for her to go on with her statement. "And Why shouldn't I?"

". . . Levi, how would you feel getting dragged out of your home just for the sake of humanity and getting tested on for something that was so natural to you?", Hanji asked.

"You must have hit your head on the ground really-"

"Levi. . . ", Hanji said, cutting him off.

Levi stared at her for awhile before sighing, rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around. He let out a sigh and scoffed before slapping her hand away from his cape. "Okay, okay I get it.", Levi huffed out. Giving her a hard cold glare he went off to grabbed the keys, opening the door to the cell so she could get out. Hanji giggled and quickly ran out.

"Man, so good to be free.", she said, shocked afterwards on what she had said.

"What the fuck are you on about now?", Levi asked, getting more irritated.

Hanji said nothing and just stared at the cell. She began remembering what it felt like being there. For it being a short amount of time, she felt like days probably went by or maybe even weeks for all she knew. Humming, she turned on her heels and looked at Levi. "What day is it?", she asked. Curious on what he was going to say and do.

"It's still the same day idiot. Are you on something Shitty glasses?", he asked.

Hanji just ignored him and left him there, shouting and cursing at her.

She didn't know how long she ran around in that building but now that she was finally out, she felt like shouting in happiness but didn't. For she knew she would be stripped from freedom instantly. Running again, she tossed the hood back from her head and breathing in the air. Smiling, she began making a run for it but stopped.

Hiding behind a random crate, she watched as there were a few of them walking around but they seemed much younger. Frowning, she began trying to find away of escape but found none. She began thinking but noticed that her only chance of escaping would be changing again. She gritted her teeth and looked around before trying to get a little bit closer to her group before changing. Bitting into her arm harshly, a loud boom sound echoed as well as lightning striking her.

Stumbling, she shook her fur before hearing their gear or whatever they used to get close to her. Swinging her tail around, she wacked them away from her being before looking over to the wall. Freedom. Leaning back on her hinds a little bit, she soon took off forward, passing all of them quickly. She could hear them trying to catch up to her but knew they were falling back behind. Running, she didn't stop until she got closer to the wall. Jumping up, she began scaling up the wall quickly before jumping over. Just as she thought she was free, she noticed another wall but that wasn't the only thing she noticed.

She noticed that there were a few of them around. She let out a warning growl towards them, making them all tense up and quickly leave but one stayed. It looked almost like a spider except this one had a wide grin on it. Growling, she tossed the humans of chasing her to the side as she focus more on her new task in front of her. Growling, she ready herself to launch as the abomination in front of her did also. It made some weird roar before charging at her. She just moved to the side before snapping her jaws at it's limbs.

The fight had some disadvantages to it but she was still winning no matter what. Saliva going everywhere, she battled the titan before finally being able to hold it down to the ground. Opening her jaws wide open, she soon chopped it's throat out and began chewing it up before it finally stopped moving. It was quiet for awhile as she stood there on top of it, licking her jaws before moving away from it. Looking back over to the forest, she felt pride in herself for her victory.
