The Wolf (Snk: Attack On Titan) (Poc reader-insert)

Chapter 4

Erwin doesn't recall any reports about a giant wolf in the forest, minus the phrase that spread throughout the peers of the most recent recruits. He almost wanted to disregard the it as a complete rumor, until Levi arrived and delivered the report himself about the titanic creature.A giant wolf was brought to the outskirts of the city less than an hour ago and was supposedly being transferred to Hanji's usual experimental grounds (well, it is Hanji. What does one expect from her?). Now the duo where heading to see Hanji, Eren and this creature.

It's almost perplexing to know that their are more than just human titans--well, there were other types as well that held fur, but they didn't even remotely move liked that of an animal. Erwin almost hummed in thought. This is quite worrysome, but there's a chance it holds no interest in consuming humans for sustenance... Well, the titans eat in general out of instinct, so it's highly unlikely it'll prefer other things over humans. The most troublesome thought is the possibility that it's another human controlling a titan (animal) body.

The gigantic wolf's teeth was bared back so far, Eren knew he had to make certain to keep his distance. If it wasn't for the fact that Hanji was already obsessed with titans, he'd question what got her so obsessed with this creature. It's bigger than most titans, probably to human-wolf scale with a 18-meter titan; it's also a bit unique, for it's a animal AND a titan. It'd be terrifying if there were more out their like this one, even a bird--no, hopefully not a giant bird. This one seemed more set on protecting its forest from intruders, even the titans... Is it a good idea to force it out here in a city?

He snapped out of his thoughts when it growled ferociously towards the giggling Hanji. However, it was strapped down; the legs, the muzzle.. it won't do be able to do anything, except pierce her soul with its glowing jade-colored eyes. "Woo! I never thought we'd actually capture you! You're so elusive and so smart!" All she got as a response was a glare. She only smiled with her 'signature look' as she approached it, holding a large tool. "Now be a good dog..." she rested a hand on its restrained muzzle, pointing the tool dangerously close to its exposed nose.

It was then the creature and Eren sensed the intense heat from the large rod, but there was nothing it could do, except hold the stare.

"You do show intelligence like a human would, but we have never encountered one controlling a titan animal. Perhaps you are one, hm?"

Eren blinked in confusion, but he couldn't help but to worry. Not for the creature's well being, but for what might happen if Hanji continues her experiments for sake communication.

"No response? You obviously understand me, so can you speak?"

Silence.

"Or do you just want to return to your forest?"

Silence.

"Nothing to respond that way either? Maybe you're hungry?" she sighed, "Don't worry though," she grasped the red-hot rod in both her hands, "this will only hurt for a second--"

"Hanji!"

All eyes turned, seeing Levi and Erwin, staring sternly at the giant creature. The wolf seemed to question them with its eyes as it stared at them. Hanji blinked before smiling as she skipped over to them with a grin. "Erwin, didn't think you would make it", she said with a matter of fact tone to her voice. Erwin just ignored her for now as he looked over to the beast with a slight frown.

"And what exactly is this?"

"Glad you asked!"

Her eyes flared as she stood in front of Erwin, pride in her stance. "This is Fluffy!", Almost immediately the wolf growled lowly at the name. She ignored the beast and continued on. "The titan wolf I found.", she said with a giggle while walking over to the wolf. Placing her hand onto its fur she smiled, only to have it growl at her. "Fluffy here seems to be more intelligent than the other titans and they seem to know whose boss when Fluffy comes around.", she said. She soon jumped away as the beast jolted slightly against the bondage while growling, making Hanji giggle more in delight. "Haha! Amazing Fluffy! You almost got me there!", she shouted and laughed.

The wolf growled at her before looking back over to the males with a cold stare. This seemed to shock all of them, including Levi. "Woo~! You see that? Intelligent!", Hanji continued to brag before raising the hot rode. "Now, if it really is like all the other titans it shouldn't feel pain", She said and held up the rode.

"Now, hold still for me.", Hanji said. Stepping towards the wolf, she aimed the rode towards the area where it's ribs were. The wolf's eyes widen and it started growling out loudly before it started thrashing around. Hanji stepped closer and closer towards it, making it thrash around more. Then, it let out a high pitched yelp as Hanji impaled it near it's ribs. It whined in pain as Hanji pushed the rode deeper into the area near the ribs. Hanji felt her eyes watering as it continued to let out high pitched whines while struggling against it bounds. Eren couldn't watched and looked away from the heartbreaking scene. "Please forgive me.", Hanji whispered while impaling the beast deeper with the rode.

Skin breaking echoed throughout the building as it kept letting out yelps and whines from the pain it was feeling. Blood started coming out of the wound and fall onto the floor. It whined out louder as the rode was thrust into its side. Yelping now, it struggled before giving up and laid limp on the ground. Hanji soon had enough and pulled the rode away from the beast. Erwin would be lying if he didn't feel a bit guilty by doing this but they had to make sure it wasn't a human in a titan wolf's body. So, he stayed quiet and watched as Hanji continued on. A shout was heard from her as she impaled it in it's back, making it yelp and started thrashing around in pain.

"I'm sorry!", Hanji cried out as she continued on. Levi didn't really want to see anymore so he turned his head slightly and looked down at the ground. It continued on before it soon stopped, leaving the beast panting heavily while laying down. They waited to see anything that proved it was a shifter but nothing proved it. All there was, was blood splattered on the wall and matted down in it's fur. It panted from exhaustion as it laid there before opening one of it's eyes and glared hatred towards them. Erwin and Levi did their best not to show that it had bothered them but Hanji was basically a mess as she buried her face into it's wounded side, making it yelp slightly.

They waited to see anything that proved it was a shifter but nothing proved it. All there was, was blood splattered on the wall and matted down in it's fur. It panted from exhaustion as it laid there before opening one of it's eyes and glared hatred towards them. Erwin and Levi tried to not show it had bothered them while they watched Hanji crying in it's side. Taking it as a cue for them to leave, they silently left her with the beast. Erwin had got what it came from and expected more from this beast but decided to be patient. As they walked in silence, Erwin looked over to Levi in the corner of his eye. "Keep an eye on it. If it shows any changes, report back to me."

"And if there are no changes made by it?", Levi asked. "I think it's best to be patient before we get ahead of ourselves.", Ewrin said. With that, the door closed shut behind them. Leaving Hanji in a mess while Eren stood up against the wall watching. If only they stayed longer and watched as the beast's blood slowly went back into it's wounds. If only anyone noticed it period.
