Chapter 25

Namjoons POV:

" Yaa! Jae, were going to be late!" I yell for Jae to hurry up. 

"Aish stop yelling Namjoon its too early for that" I smack his arm. He grabs my hand and pulls me close to him. He kisses my forehead.

"Mianhae(sorry) I know you don't like it when I yell... but we are going to miss the train if we don't leave now." He says while kissing my head. 

We rush out the door. We get in Jin's car, who was waiting in the parking lot. 

"Thank you again for taking us to the train station, Jin-ah" Jae say once she settled in the back seat.

I am sitting in the front seat next to Jin. The car was silent on the way to the station, I look back at Jae and smile when I see her looking out the window smiling with her head phones in.

 "Namjoon?" Jin calls my name. I look at him. 

"Gwenchana? You look nervous." He says.

"I'm meeting Jae's haimeoni today, so I helped her make gyeongdan ( sweet rice cakes) to bring her. I want to make a good impression." I say looking down at the box that holds the rice cakes in my hands.

 " Mmm they smell fresh too. I didn't know Jae can cook like that." He says. 

" Yeah she is always trying new dishes." I say.

 "Maybe she should cook for all of us on day" he says. I had stopped listening when he parked the car so I just nodded my head. 

 For Jae, haimeoni was her whole world, and I want her to like me. 

We get out the car and thank Jin again for dropping us off. 

We make it to the waiting area and board the train. I haven't said much to Jae only because im nervous. She points to things while we are riding the train. 

"Namjoonie" she says in her soft voice. 

"Hmm?" I answer her. She puts her head on my chest and outs her legs up next to her.

"Are you nervous? You haven't said anything for the past hour." She says.

 "I'm scared that I wont be good enough for haimeoni. Jae. What should I do?" I tell her truthfully.

 "Aww babe, don't worry, I'm sure she will like you, I mean you already have a good relationship with my appaji( father)." She says. 

We are silent for a while again. We have about two hours and 30 minutes left to get to Busan. So Jae takes a nap on my lap. I would sleep as well but I'm too nervous so I watch Jae sleep. Her closed eyes make her face seem less intimidating, yeppeuda!(how pretty).

 I'm so lucky to have her as my fiancé. I want to ask jaes grandmother to give me her blessing for our marriage. We will have the wedding of Jae's dreams. I was lost in thought when jae suddenly woke up from her nap in shock.

 "Jae, are you okay?" I rub her back. Shes biting her lip and has this look on her face... something is wrong. 

" Namjoon don't be mad at me..." She looks down and fiddles with her shirt.

 "Jae, whats. wrong." I say.

 "I – I forgot to lock the door when we left." She says quietly that I almost didn't hear her. I thought that she was going to say something that would have made me more upset. I get up without saying a word and walk to the bathroom. I can hear her calling my name but I ignore it. How can she do that. How irresponsible. I punch the wall and leaves a dent in the wall. I need to calm down, so I call Jimin. He tells me to calm down and not to be mad.
