"Hello, Ms. Jones," I was prompted very formally as I entered the conference room. I was expecting a meeting with Brett, but about ten other men in suits were sitting at the conference table along with Lou Teasdale and a few other people I recognized from the boys' styling team.

"Please take a seat," the man who was sitting at the head of the table said while motioning for me to take the only empty seat that was at the other end.

"You might be wondering what we've called you in here for, although you have probably figured it out on your own. Your actions at the concert in Arizona, have put us in a very... let's say tight spot." I remained silent while the man kept talking. He never even introduced himself. "I know the magazines drew attention to your couple situation with Niall, but you not only brought the rumor about him cheating on you into the spotlight, you put yourself into the spotlight too. And that's not a place we wanted you to be. But now that you are, we have to make the most of it." Okay, what ever that meant?

"If you didn't know already, that picture of Niall was taken about a year ago. There is an interview scheduled for tomorrow at a radio station, and we want you to go. Damage control. Since we assume your relationship with Niall is still in tact, you need to sign a detailed contract with us about how the duration of your relationship will go. We wanted you to be a part of making the contract."

We discussed my schedule for the rest of the summer. I was going back to the U.K. in two days. I was going to be interning on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays every week. I agreed to travel to where ever the boys were in the world on Wednesday nights and be flown back to the U.K. On Saturday nights right after their show.

I was prepared to be addicted to coffee for the next couple of months. I planned on going back to school in London in August like I had the last two years. The management team wanted me to transfer to a school in Ireland. I tried telling them it was too late to apply anywhere but they insisted they could pull some strings. I said I would think about it. The only reason I even agreed to sleep on it was because my dad was from a very Irish family. I always wanted to visit Ireland but I don't know if I was up to living there for nine months for school.

I had to meet with management in another month to talk about it again. We agreed that Lou would style me for any formal events, and that before Niall and I went out in public we had to let someone know. This was going to be a little bit like being a prisoner.

In exchange for what management was "doing for me," I had to sign a paper saying that my relationship with Niall would last at least a year. I don't understand how you can promise you'll be with someone in year, but I did it. It felt like I had to, otherwise they basically wouldn't let Niall and I be together now; and I wasn't ready to lose him yet.

Right now, Lou had to dress me and do my hair so I could go to Disney land with Niall. We chatted while she worked on making me look perfect, and she was very sympathetic about my situation.

Before leaving for Disney, I thanked Lou and gave her hug. Niall was waiting for me in a car in the back of the hotel.

As soon as I slid into the car, I quickly apologized to Niall for my behavior.

"What happened in your meeting with management?" he asked harshly, not even bothering to accept my apology.

"Well... erm... basically I had to sign a contract saying that we will be together still in a year and that we have to let Modest! know before we go out and stuff like that. So I guess you're stuck with me for a while," I said shamefully. I hadn't wanted to make the deal with management, but what else could I do?

"Great," he said coldly. We hardly talked the rest of the way to the amusement park. As soon as we stepped out of the car into the park though, Niall was all smiles. He grabbed my hand and walked through the gate. I'm assuming the happiness was fake and for the cameras and fans. Disney might be "the happiest place on earth," but it couldn't fix our problems that fast.
