《Yeah, I know, I updated late. Sorry.》
Chapter 5: Sakae's pov
____I did it! I finally did it! I laughed intensely. Akuma's now dead because I killed him. My laughs became even louder than before.
Suddenly, something crashed through the window. "Jaa~n!" (Tada in Japanese).
I jumped back in fear as I felt my heart stop for a second.
The figure raised it's head, the moon shined on it's white short hair. It's red eyes glared at me with a wide smirk on his face. "Hello, Sakae." It was Kasai's voice.
"Wh- What the heck?!" I barked, "You scared me!"
He softly chuckled, "Sorry." He eyed Akuma who was bloody dead on the floor. "Sakae...."
"What-"
Whack! A sharp pain went across my face. "You idiot!" He yelled, "I told you not to kill anyone when I was gone!"
I repeatedly rubbed the pain, "Stop hitting me!"
"Stop becoming evil!" He yelled. "I don't want you to regret it later!"
"So what if I killed?" I was beginning to fear Kasai.
" 'So what if I killed', you say!?" He made a fist with his hands and placed them on my shoulders , "When you kill, your purity fades away! For us demons and other creatures, we were born impure. Nymphs are made to help people, therefore they are pure. If you become evil as Akuma, or even me, you'll die from lack of purity."
My shoulders were crushed by his strong grip. His nails pierced through my clothes. "Who is there to help when almost everyone whom I love is dead?" I said through the pain.
"Just do it for him, Hiryu wouldn't like you this way." He dropped his hands. "Now, shall we get going?"

After and hour of endless walking, we stopped outside the golden gates of a kingdom with stone walls that stood 400 feet high.
"Where are we?" I asked breaking my neck looking up at the wall.
"The Angel Kingdom, can't you tell by the crosses?" He shivered, "I'm pretty sure your sister is in here, Hiryu was the one who put her in a safe place."
"Halt!" A man yelled from afar. "Who goes there?"
"King Kasai and a nymph goddess."
The man focused his eyes on Kasai, "What does a demon want at this hour?"
"Trust me, I don't wanna be here. It's too holy," he shivered once more. "I'm here for her."
"Mm... alright." He opened up the gate. "If you kill anyone, I'll tell the King."
"Yeah yeah, I know." He walked inside.
Kasai asked many people if they seen a little human girl named Xuki, bit none has seen her. "Damn it! I thought she was here...."
"Maybe you should ask the king, he probably knows where she is." I suggested.
Kasai let out a huge sigh, "Fine."
We made our way into the castle. The King decided to not see Kasai, instead, the Queen did.
"Good evening, your majesty," she said in a smooth voice. "And nice to meet you, young goddess."
"Tch!" Kasai clenched his fist. "Do you have to be so polite? You could just call me by my name, Yui."
"Okay, Kasai-kun." She smiled.
I saw Kasai twitch, "H-have you seen a little human name Xuki?"
"Ah, Xuki... She's here in this room. She's such a heavenly sweetheart~" she opened the door.
"My temptation to kill you is going to take over if you don't stop all the smooth talk." Kasai threatened.
I entered the room and saw Xuki reading a book on her bed. She diverted her eyes towards me and started smiling.
"Sakae-chan?!" As soon as she got out of bed, she ran and tacked me. "Sakae, I haven't seen you in like 3 months! I was so worried! I thought I lost you!"
I lifted her up and squeezed her tightly. Her aroma let out a scent of lavender beds, as if I was trapped in a room with a disgusting smell and now I'm free. "I missed you, too." I teared up.
"Sakae!" She pulled away and smiled. "Guess what? I'm going to turn 7 in a month from now!"
So next month is February? I missed the holiday season already? "That's great, Xuki."
"I can't wait to tell mother and father! Are they with you?" She searched out the door.
I looked at Kasai and mouthed help me! But, he shook his head and smiled. Bastard!
"Mom and Dad are not here." I took a deep breath and let her down.
"Aw really? Can we see them tomorrow?" She gave me puppy eyes. "Please!"
Tears rolled down my eyes as I twirled her wavy hair.
"Sakae...?"
I sniffed, "Mother and father are in heaven right now."
"What? Why are they up there?" She tilted her head.
I thought she would get what I meant by that.
"Stupid, they're dead." Kasai said plainly.
"D-dead?" Her nose wrinkled up as she forced herself not to cry.
"Kasai!" I yelled.
"She was gonna know one way or another. " he stuck his tongue out.
"Was it the devil guy?" Her tears were dripping down her face.
"Hm?" My thumb passed away her tears.
"The one that took them away." She walked to Kasai, "he looks like the devil guy."
"I'm his dad." He said.
"Dad?" She looked at him in confusion. "But, you don't look old. You look 40."
Xuki has a problem with age estimation. According to her, 40 years old is what she called me when I was turned 17, mom got mad when Xuki called her 150 years old.
"I'm not human so once I turn a certain age, I stay like that forever. I think I was 20 years old when I stopped growing..." He bragged.
Xuki sniffled, " I forgive your son for doing such horror. I pray for him and for you-"
"Agh, shush!" He covered his ears. "Do you want me to die or something?!"
Xuki giggled like crazy and tried to put a cross necklace over Kasai's head. It's odd how calmly Xuki was just 5 minutes after she heard that our parents were killed. Maybe it's because I knew Akuma more.
Or maybe it's because I was turning more like a demon every single day since I was separated from Hiryu.
