Chapter 11: Sakae's pov

"Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are~" sang Tatsu. Her brown, long pink tails flopped as she skipped around the room. "Mommy, I sing good, don't I?"

Her grey-blue eyes twinked as she looked up at me. "You do sing good," I twirled her hair, "Where's daddy?"

"He's with Koji and Yuji," She said.

Shiro walked into the room with her short, messy hair and her black dress ripped. "What's up, chicas?"

"What's a chi-ka?" Tatsu asked.

Shiro messed with Tatsu's hair, "It's a Spanish word, don't worry about it." She looked up at me, "Hey, Sakae. Do you know where my father went?"

"I think he's-"

Before I could finish answering, he came through the door yelling, "Sakae!!! My son made your son pee on himself again. He's such a baby for a 3 year old."

I let out a sigh, "Let Hiryu deal with that."

"I don't like Shi. Come with me." He took my hand and took me to the room that the kids usually play in.

Hiryu was hugging Koji as he cried away. Koji's tears were gushing out of his small purple eyes and trailed down his cheek. He looked at me and jumped out of Hiryu's arms, "Mama!"

He tackled my legs and looked up at me, "Yuji scared me and made me go pee pee," he sniffled.

I picked him up and hugged him tightly, I then glared at Kasai who was chuckling at this whole thing.

He stopped and looked at how serious I was, "What?"

I rolled my eyes and then glared at Yuji who flicked his tongue at me in response, "Its not my fault he's scared of black fire." He created a black flame at the palm of his hand, "Father and Shiro taught me black magic."

I hate my life... I thought to myself.

I sighed and stroke Koji's soft, black hair. Tatsu walked up to Yuji and yelled, "Stop picking on my baby brother you white-haired-demon!" She stomped on his foot and ran behind Hiryu.

Yuji jumped and screamed, holding his foot in his hand as well.He cursed in spanish.

"What did you say?!" Tatsu said not understanding a word.

He clenched his fist and made flames, "Why are you such a little b-"

"That's enough, Koji!" Kasai yelled at him in a strict manor.

Koji stopped the flames that came out of his fist and bowed. "Yes, father..."

Not only I was shocked to see Kasai that strict to his son, but i was also shocked that his son actually obeyed him as if Kasai was a god or something.

Kasai let out a sigh, "Anyways, we need to get ready, I'll be holding a party for your 10th birthday at 7 o'clock pm. I'll see you guys later." He left the room with Shiro following behind him.

It was 6:30 and already guests made their way into the hall. Hiryu and I were on the balcony with many other special guest. Kai was also here with her family, but they decided to walk in the garden. We herd people whispering about Yuji.

"Y'know, I think Yuji-sama is evil," said a woman to her husband.

He nodded, "I know right. Rumor has it that he might be the rebirth of Akuma."

"Is that so?" The woman said in shock.

"Mmhmm, Akuma did die a couple of hours before Yuji's birth...."

"Oh, that's true. I didn't like Akuma....I will not forget what he did to our kids." She leaned on his shoulder and wiped away her tears.

I looked at Hiryu with concern, "What if the rumors are true?" I asked him

He just shrugged and replyed, "Don't worry about it..."

I let out a sigh and forgot about it. We waited another half hour until 7 and saw Kasai, Okami, and Yuji up on the stairs. "Welcome everyone. I, Kasai, would like to make a nice toast to my son, Yuji." Everyone raised their glass, "Yuji was born into this world the same day my other son nearly destroyed my kingdom and this world."

Yuji looked at him in confusion. It seems as if he never heard of this from anyone before.

Kasai continued, "Akuma was the most powerful son I had so far in my life. Heck, I would've gave up my throne if it wasn't for Shiro, my daughter, and Sakae, the goddess. My son is very lucky to be born into this world with these two. May he have wisdom, dispair, happiness, strength, and power in the future."

Everyone praised and lowered their glass and drank their wine. Yuji got kisses and hugs from his relatives and made his way over to me.

He looked up at me and quickly bowed, "Thank you goddess for saving the kingdom."

I chuckled and nudged his head, "The only thing I did was kill Akuma when he was already dying. You should thank your sister...."

"Father just told me that you spent a whole week or two with my devil king brother and survived. Your parents died, Shi the dragon died, and you still made through the pain as a human alone." He raised his head and looked at me with his wide, teary eyes. "I know I'm more of a demon, but I i have the heart of a wolf because of my mother and wouldn't imagine my mother and father dying."

The tears in his eyes made me tear up as well. I scooped him up and gave him a tight hug, "There's a saying that everything happens for a reason, weather its bad or good... and this time, i realized that all that happened in the past, was for a very good reason indeed," I started to cry, "Tatsu, Hiryu, Koji, Kai, Okami, Kasai, Shiro, Xuki, you... you guys are alive today and i should be happy for that...." I felt his hand stroke my back, "I love you all."

All my pain and sorrow that i have been holding for 11 whole years poured out at once. From the day I met Hiryu, and this day.

"Sakae?!" I heard Hiryu cry out, "What happened to Sakae?"

I'm glad that this all happened.

"Mama?!" He brought along the kids as well.

I'm glad that I faced all the pain with that demon.

"Oi, Sakae?" I felt Kasai's hands touch my back.

I'm glad that we got our revenge on Akuma.

"Shhh, father." Yuji whispered, "Let her have her moment."

Because if that never had happened.... if i was never a nymph goddess in the first place....
I would've been in a world where I wouldn't live for more than a century....
In a world where these people wouldn't exist....
In a world where things aren't as beautiful as they should be.
