Chapter 10: Hiryu's pov

Sakae rested her head on my lap, tired from waiting for Okami's baby to come out already. "I hope it's a girl," she sighed,"I can play with her hair and Xuki can take care of her when we are off on a mission or something."

"I just hope it's a boy so they won't get mad when it's a girl." I stroked her soft brown hair.

She chuckled and nodded her head, "Yeah, it would be bad if they're mad."

Shiro, who was out fixing the villages, came back with a black rose. "Is the baby born yet?!"

We both shook our head and sighed. I noticed the rose in her hand, "whats that for?"

"Oh this?" She waved the rose, "First born girl from a mother can be killed depending on it's strength, y'know. So this black rose would be placed at the funeral of the baby or in the baby's room."

"Thats scary," Sakae said staring at the rose thorns.

"Its only scary for the mother," Shiro chuckled. "The pressure is really on since father really needs a prince to run the kingdom if something happens to him."

"What about you?" I asked.

"Well, I could but I am not allowed to because of what they thought if me years ago." She sat down and plucked out a rose petal.

"Shiro, what did you do after you left the kingdom?" Sakae asked.

"Well.... I had no where to go except for the human empires and stuff, so I tried to fit in," she chuckled, "My white hair and red eyes that can glow in the dark gave away the idea that I was a demon. I then decided to live in the shrine of the god of war-"

"How could you even decide something like that?" Hiryu asked, "it sounds as if you did as you pleased and he just accepted it-"

"Shi, don't cut me off, its disrespectful." She rolled her eyes,"Anyways, I slept in the god's house and he decided to let me stay. Gunshin was very nice for a war god and we both had many things in common; we love the smell of blood, killing, revenge, fighting, and so on. I trained with him every day for 3 thousand years. I never beated him in a fight since he was a very powerful god until one day, I found his weakness and kicked his butt."

I sat there in shock. It's true, the god of war is very powerful. In fact, he's the third most powerful god in the world. "Wow Shiro, you're stronger than I thought."

"Im the strongest person you've met," she stook out her tongue.

10 minutes later, we heard footsteps. A nurse showed up and smiled. In her sweet voice, she said "The baby is born. Follow me, please."

Sakae jumped up and down,"Is it a girl?! A boy?! Does it have wolf ears?!"

"You'll see, be patient," said the nurse as she lead us down the hall.

"Fine," she pouted in a cute way.

We then entered the room and saw Kasai holding a baby. He didn't look too happy. The mood quicky changed and Sakae was worried.

"Konnichiwa~" Shiro said walking in. "Is the baby gonna get killed? I will do the honors-"

"The baby isn't gonna die," Okami said smiling, "Its a healthy demon boy."

Sakae and I blinked twice, "So why did you guys look so serious?!"

Kasai spoke, "Because she named him and I wanted to."

"What's his name?" I asked.

"Yuji," Okami said with a smile. "It means brave second son, it fits him perfectly."

"Brave?! More like brat!" Kasai showed his arm that has 3 scratch marks, "he did this!"

I laughed, "He doesn't like you."

"Shut up, Shi, how about you carry him." He passed me the baby.

I gently took him and looked him in the eyes. The sweet baby has white hair and bright grey-red eyes. Yuji smiled anf shut his eyes instead of scratching my arm out or anything like that.

Kasai pouted, "Thats not fair." He then walked out the room, "Im gonna shower."

Shiro and Sakae looked at the baby. "Its so cute!" Squealed Sakae. She smiled and kissed the baby.

The baby chuckled and blushed.

"Hey lil' bro! Im Shiro, your much older sister. We used to have a big bro named Akuma but Sakae and I killed him." She took out a blood lollipop, "I'll let you have one of these in 2 months, 'kay?" She lightly made a heart on his cheek with her nail, "Im gonna teach you French, Latin, English, Spanish, Chinese, German, Swedish, Arabic, Jewish, the old Japanese language, Korean, Danish, and more."

The baby yawned and shut his big eyes.

"Yuji-sama is a very sweet baby," I told Okami as I gave Yuji to her.

She smiled and took him, "I know he is." She lightly kissed his head, "Yuji is going to come out very strong and sweet."
