Chapter 7

After debating who to take with me to the concert I decided on taking my childhood best friend Amelia. I missed Amy all this time. Talking about our futures and how we wanted to be professional dancers. Amy was like the sister I never had and vice versa. Me and her had this little promise, that no matter where we were in the world we would always be best friends and sisters no matter what.

I make my way to my closet and take out my black leather jacket and put it over my white flowy top and that is tucked into my dark blue high waisted shorts. I look at myself in the mirror and adjust my ponytail. I look over under my bed and spot my white Toms, I run over to my bed and put them on.

I run out the room and down the stairs. I make my way out the door.

"Where do you think you're going!" I head my mother shout at me.

"To Amy's house! And why do you care? Since when do you care anyway!" I shout back at her and walking away.

The walk to Amy's house wasn't that long it was about two minutes away. I walk up the walkway and knock on the door.

"May I help you." Amy's dad, Mr. Fox, answers the door.

"Yeah. Hi Mr. Fox, is Amy here." I ask nervously. What if she doesn't remember me? What if she hates me for leaving? So many what if's are going through my mind right now that I'm just so nervous.

"Jade is that you." He asks squinting his eyes.

"Yes it is Mr. Fox. Can I speak to Amy please."

Yeah she's up in her room. Please come in."

"Thanks." I mumble as I walk past him towards the staircase.

"Go ahead, she should be in her room either reading or on her computer."

I walk up the staircase and turn left and spot her door. I knock three times and wait for her to answer.

"Come in!" I hear her yell through the closed door. Okay here it goes. I open the door slowly and see her sitting at her desk staring at her computer with concentration.

"Umm, Amy? Hey." I say very awkwardly. Wow way to go Jade. You're not awkward at all.

"What? I'm sorry. I didn't hear you." She says taking out her earbuds. She turn around and looks at me.

"Oh my god!! Jade!! I missed you!!" She screams at me while running to me. She wraps me up in a tight hug. Oh I missed my best friend.

"Hey! I'm back!" I say as hug her back.

We pulled apart and she grabbed my arm and took me over to her couch.

"How've you been?"

"I've been good. Kind of miss you guys but you know it's all good."

"Kind of? What do you mean kind of?"

"Relax. I missed you guys so much!"

"I have so much to tell you!" She says with a big smile on her face.

"Did you know Niall is famous now?"

"Umm yeah I do know. Can we not talk about him please?"

"I'm so sorry I forgot about the whole situation."

"Let's talk about something else, yeah? Do you have a boyfriend?" I ask her.

She looks over to her computer and it dings. She starts to blush! There's a boy! I run over to her desk and check her news feed. A new message.

"Someone's got a boyfriend!" I sing song.

"Shhh! Not so loud! My parents will kill me!!"

"Dude, but your 18 already! Your an adult."

She rolls her eyes and takes the laptop from her desk and sits on her bed.

"Okay look, do you remember Eddie?" She questions.

"Yeah duh. He was my neighbour right?" I ask sort of confused.

"No you idiot! You used to sit next to him in math." She says as she slaps my forehead.

"Anyway, he asked me out!" She whisper-yelled at me holding my arm. She was so excited and I was happy for her.

"Where to?"

"He told me to go to the movies with him and I said yes."

After talking for hours, I remembered why I was here. The concert.

"Hey, so the reason I came was to ask you something?" I say fiddling with my thumbs.

"Yeah what is it?"

"Okay well my dad got me tickets to this one concert, and I wanted to know if you wanted to go?"

"Who's playing the concert?" She asks excitedly.

"One Direction." I whisper not very audible.

"What?"

"One Direction!" I yell on accident.

"Yeah! Oh my god! I get to see them in concert!" She jumps up and down on her bed.

"Not only that, we also have backstage passes!" I jump with her.

She stopped jumping and looked at me with a worried expression.

"What's wrong?" I ask nervously.

"W-what about you know? Niall? I mean he is in the band and we get to see them backstage and all, what's going to happen?" She asks worried of what I might say.

"I'll just ignore him. Pretend he's not there. Pretend nothing happened between us." I say confidently. But I really wasn't confident at all. I can't just stand there and pretend I don't know who he is. Pretend nothing happened between us. Because something did happen between us.

A/N: I now I had to update twice today but I couldn't because I went to go watch DESPICABLE ME 2 because I can. But on a more serious note I will update later on today because it is now exactly 1 am.
