This is just an idea a friend of mine emmarowlette got in my head. I've just started watching supernatural(its so good) I am only on season 2 so don't blame me if the characters are not portrayed correctly. They don't come in till later, it's mostly ocs for now. Anyways lets just begin. Warning:bad grammar and/or spelling, minor swearing
Clark's P.O.V
I sighed as I got into my car to drive to my new school. This was going to be awful. "C'mon kid, let's get this over with" I spoke to my brother Carson who was standing on the pavement( I refuse to call it the sidewalk) He groaned and swung open the passenger door. "Woah woah there cowboy what do you think you're doing?" "Opening the door...?" He answered, tilting his head to the side questionably. "In the back kid" "not this again Clark! Im not a baby, I'm nearly 14, why can't I sit in the front seat??!" He pouted. "You know damn well why Carson. Get in the back or walk." He glared at me for a minute before I revved the engine and he ran to get in the back. He slid in the seat behind me and tugged my hair lightly between the seat and headrest. I glared at him in the rear view mirror before reversing out of our driveway."Love you sis" he said cheekily. "Hmm. I love you too. Sometimes" I watched for his reaction and laughed, before turning my eyes back on the road. I mean, who wants to crash on their first day?~~~~•~~~~~~~~~~~~•~~~~~~~~~~~~~~•~~~~~~~~~~~~~•~~~~~~~~~~~
Pulling into the carpark,I found a spot as far away from anyone as I could get. Let's just say I'm not the sociable type. I reached for my headphones but stopped when I saw Carson standing facing the school. I wish I could've just said bye and pushed him on his way (which would be way easier on me) but I couldn't. First of all because I'm trying to be a better older sister and second because who leaves a scared little kid(I mean he's 14 but he's still a kid to me) alone in a place like this? I may be a loner but I'm not that much of an asshole.
I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and stood in front of him. "You alright kid?" I stand up on my tippy toes to ruffle his hair. That's right. I have to stand up on my tippy toes to reach his head. He's 3 years younger than me. I was not lucky in the height genetics of our family. He starts laughing at my struggle and mocks me by bending down. "Yeah, yeah you mock me for being 5'3 but if you keep growing you're not gonna be able to walk through doors without hitting your head!" I joked. He smiles briefly before frowning again. "I'm scared Clark." "There's no need to be." "I dunno I get a pretty bad vibe around this place." "You and your bad vibes", I shook my head fondly. "I'm serious Clark. I've been having the dreams again." "Well that's exactly what they are - just dreams." "- but..." "- no ifs, buts or whats. This a new start for us. I'll bring you to the office and then you'll go to class, make new friends- the usual...okay?" "BUT THIS ISNT THE USUAL, MOM'S GONE AND ITS MY FAULT" Well that earned us a few weird looks. Great. "Calm down wolf." He looked surprised at my use of his old nickname. It got his attention at least. "It wasn't your fault wolf."
I pause and look him in the eyes. "There was nothing you could do.....-nothing any of us could have done. Try to make some friends today okay wolf?" He nods soundlessly.
I walk off towards the school and hear him follow. I can see others staring and take a deep breath before straightening my posture. I can't look weak. I can't let them label me as the weak new kid to pick on. Not again.
We reach the office and I go to the desk. "Um hi, I'm Clark and this is my brother Carson. We're new students here." "Hi honey, I'm Miss. White, but you can call me Anna." The secretary replies. She has shoulder length hair kinda like Carson's except vivid red and bright hazel eyes. She reaches for some papers and hands them to me. "There's your timetable and map, though don't hesitate to ask anyone if you're lost, here at Lakewood Highschool we're all friendly." Yeah, right. I'll believe that when pigs fly. "Thanks for your help", I reply politely.
I hand Carson his timetable when we get to the corridor before looking at my own. English. Great. I hate languages. I look up to see Carson turning the corner, giving me a final wave before going into his classroom. I glance up and down the corridors. There's no one left and my class is on the opposite side of the school. Shit! I'm gonna be late for class.
Sorry its short. Thats just how I do things here. Short and sweet gets you more chapters! Also the picture is a loose representation of Clark, but when i mean loose i mean loose. She doesn't exactly look like that it's just the closest I can find. See you next chapter.
