What boy?

I came home from college around 2pm. Maddie was round a friends house so it was just mum and me in the house. I went towards mum and she was on the sofa watching TV.
"How was it?" Mum questioned me.

"Good."

In fact I'd lied. College was bewildering. There was one thing on my mind though and that was Luke. He stunned me. There was just something about him. His eyes? His hair? His voice perhaps? I just knew there was something. And I was determined to find out what thta something was...

The next day at college Luke was there again and we started talking more. He was striking. His eyes were a night sky; enchanting and possessing. His hair was a hazel sea, swept at one side. His lips were a pale rose- soft and delicate and his voice, his voice gave solace to me. I loved everything about him... But did I love him?

"Would you want to go for a drink later?"

"I dunno Luke,should I?"

"Yeah we can get to know each other better."

"Ok."

Later that night we met up at 6:00 at the Fox and hound round the corner. Luke brought me a few drinks and we talked more.
Luke only has his dad, his mum died when he was younger. He is an only child. I felt pity on him. You could see thta it hurt him to bring his past up. I took his hand and placed mine into his. He looked at me and I chose to give him a peck on the cheek.

"We should be getting back J."

"Ok Luke."

We drove to my house and we stood by the door. I stared through his eyes and saw his love for me. He stared back. A thought came into my head...

"Why not come in Luke?"

"You sure?"

I nod. I invited Luke in and we sat on the sofa together watching TV. I could hear his heart beating fast, I could hear his silent breathing, I could feel his warmth. I looked over at him- he was already looking at me. He slid his hand into mine and I held it tight. His other hand pulled my waist closer to him. I didn't want to give in to him. His hand moved to my neck drawing us closer together. I gasped. I couldn't give in... Our lips were millimetres away from each other. I couldn't... I heard him sigh. I learnt into him...

The flicker of a light switch pulled us apart. We jumped back from each other and sat still.

"J. It's 11pm! Your sister has school in the morning! Come on!" She sounded annoyed.

"Yea. I was... Just...Um...sorry..." I was speechless.

Mum sighed at me and went back upstairs. I'm surprised she didn't interrogate me about Luke.

"I'm gonna make a move. See you tomorrow?" Luke said, as embarrassed as I.

"Yea."

What just happened? It's all a blur now. Did we?? Are we?? What!? I don't know anything that juts happened but one thing is for sure...

I'm in love with him.
