I Could Be Perfect, But Nobody Is

Call of Perfection

It's May 11. Wilson High School prom is on May 21st. today is Friday and I booked a flight to Miami because I have to go pick up my prom dress with cake. They are already ordered, we just have to go to a fittin, to sure that it fits perfectly.

School today went well, can't complain about anything. I was home chilling on my couch watching TV after shower, and then I looked at the time. It was going on 5. Then my phone ring, & I noticed that it was the number that was calling me a couple of days ago. I'm just really not into answering unknown calls but they keep calling so they must want something.

Me: Hello? *A little sassy*

Women: Hello hello. thank you for answering, this is Miss Smith from Wilhelmina modeling agency. I've called a couple times before but I was thinking that I had the wrong number, and that would have been upsetting. Is this Kameela Savage ?

Modeling agency? I should have answered the phone sooner.

Me: Yes, this is she.

Smith: Wonderful wonderful. so first I would like to start off by saying that my boss, the owner of Wilhelmina modeling agency she ran across some pictures of you on Instagram and she like me she saw, and she liked you sense of fashion. she wanted me to call you and see if you could come in and take some Polaroids, and go from there. How does that sound?

Me: It sounds all good I will be 100 percent ready to do that, but its just the thing that I'm still in school and I graduate this year. I don't want to be missing out on school and stuff like that.

Smith: I absolutely understand. If these Polaroids are nice and you know the wants to give you a contract or sign you to accompany then we will totally work at your pace and at your time. we understand that you are in high school, that's why we have somethings setup for you in the teen area. So when are you free to come in so we can actually take the Polaroids, and get to know you a little better to see if you are Wilhelmina modeling agency material?

Me: I'm actually free now I wasn't really doing anything so is this a good time for you?

Smith: Absolutely absolutely. like I said you know earlier that we have been calling you like the past week trying to get you to come down and take the Polaroids, and then if we like them, we're going to actually have an immediate photoshoot practice to see how you look. Then after that we will give you a call back and tell you when your first assignment is and you know stuff like that.

Me: Okay that's fine.

My polarois were great, my photo shoot went great. the camera, absolutely loves me, and my photographer fell in love with me. he says I'm a natural and I should have been doing this years ago. I was signed to the modeling agency I have a three-year contract for 500000 a year, plus I get paid for any photo shoot I do, or any cover photos I do, for any TV appearances I do. anything that has to do with me and taking pictures 9 times outta 10 I'm going to get paid for it, and that's not taken out of my yearly check.

When I think about it and flashback modeling was never in our plan, and by me thinking that I had to you know get some answers. but my manager told me, who is Star my mom hired her, star told me that modeling is only an open road to fashion. most models become fashion moguls.

When everybody found out about you know me being a model, everybody was happy. everybody was like you should of did it before, you're so pretty like you're fit for the cameras. I was happy that everybody supported me, and I'm happy that my career is getting started. and I'm not even out high school yet I think that is so cool.

Out of all people that was happy, I will admit that Kaamil, Arion, Cake, and Mom was the happiest of them all. I can see now that they're going to be my top supporters.

My Mom star for a long time she was actually her manager, but then she gave her to me. stars actually young, she's only 22 years old, but she is very good at what she does. she books all the good stuff for people, and she gets a lot of love.

Because I'm not 18 yet I'm only 17 I can't do you know like the women magazines and stuff. so what I have lined up for me is stuff like 17 magazine and Teen Vogue.

So as of now, everything is going fine and normal. modeling, I was kinda nervous at first, but I grew into it. I know what to expect from me, & I know what I need to do to make pretty pictures. the only step that's next in life is to graduate high school, so that I can move on to bigger and better fashion projects. the more modeling I can do, the more people to see my sense of fashion, and the more people will want me to work with him. my plan is to use is modeling as a road to my fashion career as being a fashion designer.

By the way, Kaamil was accepted to like 7 different schools on a basketball scholarship. that is awesome, I couldn't be more proud of him, and I love him. I think he'll be the best cutest most richest basketball player with the most championship rings there has ever been. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade better watch out.
