Chapter Five

"Alright Don told me what he would like you to work on so right now we will work on so hand to hand combat it is" Hayle says as the walk in the room and she sets her clipboard on the bench, "you have taken Don's test, now you get to take mine, go put the mouthguard and gloves on". "Alright I'm ready" she muffels through the mouthguard, Hayle turn to look at Ang and walks over to her with no gloves or even a mouthguard on and says "this is your first test, hit me". Ang smiled and thought "she must be crazy" as she through her first punch, which she thought could have knocked Hayle out cold, Hayle stepped to the side and Ang completely missed losing her balance, "oh come on I said hit me" Hayle taunts as she puts her fists up, Ang tried again and failed again to land a hit and tried again and failed again, it was getting repetitive so Hayle decided to change it up and all of a sudden Hayle stopped moving and Ang finally hit her arm the hit was so unexpected on Ang's part that she lost balance and fell, "alright" Hayle said as she wrote something down on the clipboard. "Test two Kick that dummy down" Hayle walked up to a dummy and kicked it so that it flew across the room, "if you want to try that kick you need to remember to strike with your shin and pivot with your other leg, your leg can only go as far as that foot points so point it that way" Hayle says as she adjusts Ang's stance "there you go, try that" Ang tries the kick and hardly moves the dummy, "you need to turn you hip quicker and send your knee across your target like this" Hayle says stepping up to another dummy and knocked it over in a matter of seconds. "Did you see what I did" "do you mean like this" Ang replies as she tries once more and the dummy knocks her back "if you do that any quicker you will fall straight on you ass try again". "No need to be so harsh, this is my first time" "all the more reason, if you can't do that one we will try another we will continue this until you get it right" Hayle says tossing a water bottle to Ang "try again" Ang grabs the bottle and takes a drink and hands it back. Ang tried the same kick for three more hours till finally the dummy was on the floor and Ang had bruises all over her shins "good now go get some lunch when you get back we will work on your next test".  \Ang took a big breath and said "I'm already okay at fighting so why am I taking more tests". Hayle turned right before she got to the door "based on today I would not let you out on the field you would get yourself killed and your team, you will get caught in a fight against a sabo whether or not you like it, but if you want to kill those sons of bitches half as much as the rest of us do in order to do that you need to learn how to fight better than just okay", " how will kicking help me kill a sabo then, the small ones are 5 times bigger than me, kicking won't even hurt a fly" Hayle takes a knife from the shelf next to her drops it too her feet than in a motion so quick that Ang couldn't see it, it flew right passed Ang's head and it hits the dummy behind her pushing it across the room.

"What the fuck are you crazy you could have killed me" Ang screams, "kill you... no it's just kicking, it couldn't hurt a fly" Hayle says as she opens the door. "Oh you are way too syco to be teaching me" Ang says furiously, Hayle turns and says with a blank expression "Kota is the next in line when it comes to teach hand-to-hand combat, unless you feel you are already passed that, in which case someone can supply you with a weapon" Hayle said calmly "what about Don" Ang says "Don is too busy keeping us all alive to stop and train you, plus he trained us in order to train any new recruits, which is you" Ang took another breath and calmed down "now I am hungry if you change your mind I will be in the dining room" Hayle said as she shut the door behind her, "Damn it she fights well, I will need to report this in" Ang walks over to the knife and pulled it out of the dummy, she twirls it in her hand then throws it across the room and it hits the door where Hayle's head was.
