8| ƀliss

It's been three and a half weeks of pure bliss. I've been fed till I can't think about food no more without feeling sick, I've been able to take multiple showers multiple times a day, and most importantly, to top it all off, I haven't seen Harry- not once since I first woke up here.

My plaster was removed and now I just had a bandage. I could walk on the foot now, but I had to be very careful and keep my weight off it.

I admit, it was very boring as there was nothing to do, but at least I was safe.

Not for long though.

"Here, I got you these." Teegan hands me some folded clothing and I smile at her gratefully.

"Thanks, Teegan. And thanks for looking after me." I say. Teegan and I became close during these past twenty one days. I know she's being payed to look after me, but not only did she do that, she also talked to me personally, told me all about her and Harry's past hookups which I didn't really wanna know about but I still listened, and told me about her story. She said used to work at a real hospital but got fired after she killed one of her co-workers. Louis had found her crying at a bar and told her she could still be a nurse and now here she was, hiding from the police but at the same time still enjoying her career. Knowing that Teegan killed someone on purpose did make me think differently of her, but I wasn't going to show that in case she decided to kill me too.

Teegan pulls me into a quick hug. When we pull apart, I slowly remove myself from the bed and walk over to the bathroom. I change into a white long-sleeved fitted top and some black skinny jeans. I slip back into the main room where Teegan is still there. But so is Harry, who hasn't changed at all since I last seen him.

"Hey." He says, his expression bland.

"Hi." I say, equally bland. Teegan hands me a pair of low-cut ankle boots.

"Hope these fit." Teegan says. I thank her before slipping the boots on. They fit perfectly, even with the slight thickness of the bandage on one of my feet. I tuck the bandage under my jeans so that it's not noticeable before standing up straight.

"These clothes fit perfect. Are they yours?" I ask Teegan, assuming they're her own clothes she brought here for me. But Teegan shakes her head.

"No, they were Maria's." Teegan says and I notice Harry look down at his shoes. I recognize the name- tattooed on Harry's chest.

"Who was-"

"She was no one, okay!?" Suddenly Harry bursts, his eyebrows drawn close together and I evidently flinch. "Don't fucking mention her name again!" He then adds, this time to Teegan. Teegan puts her hands up defensively.

"O-Okay, Harry. Sorry." Teegan says. I stare at Harry, shocked by his outburst. Whoever this Maria girl is, really ruined Harry.

I grab my forearm and dig my nails into my skin, a habit I have when I'm nervous. "Let's go." Harry suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me towards the door, forgetting about my foot.

Half-way down the hospital corridor, I can't catch up with Harry without stumbling so I stop walking and make him stop as well. "Harry please! You're hurting me." I say, gritting my teeth at the tightness of his grasp around my small wrist.

Harry's facial features seem to soften when he realizes how rough he's being, so he finally lets go. I rub my sore wrist and look up at him. He seems very distressed.

"Come on," he sounds softer now, but he still grabs my arm and drags me along.

Three elevator rides going up later, and we're standing in front of a brown polished door. Harry grab his keys from his jacket pocket and slides it into the keyhole. I stare at him confused. "Where are we?" I ask.
