Today was the day. Today was the very first day of February. Today was my very first day of college and to say I was nervous was a complete understatement, I was terrified, so terrified I only got a few hours of sleep last night but luckily I wasn't feeling that tired. Maybe it was the nerves keeping me up.

I was to be on campus at 9:15am, it was currently 8:00am meaning I had an hour to get myself together. I managed to shower and pull some fitted black jeans on along with a grey undershirt, I was still deciding whether or not I should wear a simple long sleeve V-neck or one of my best blouses. First impressions are everything, I wanted to look simple but nice. I wanted to look like I cared but didn't take an hour to chose and outfit. Does that make any sense?
I placed the options on my bed and pulled out my laptop to request a video chat with Liam. I knew he had work but I figured him and Sophia could help me out before they leave. I sat in front of the laptop and waited until I saw Liam appear. He was partly dressed with a mug in his hands.

"Hey Angel!" he greeted me with a bright smile.

"Hey! I need your help!" I said standing to pick up the two tops so he was able look at them.

"You look all worked up, what is it?"

"I just need you to tell me which one do you prefer."

"What look are you going for?" Liam leaned into the camera to get a better look at the tops.

"Simple but nice. I want to look nice but not like I tired to hard" I explained.

"And why didn't you call Sophia or El?" He frowned.

"Jerk"

"I'm not saying I won't help you baby I'm just saying I'm no fashion expert"

"I don't care Liam just tell me which one works best" I groaned.

"Okay okay. Go with the purple blouse"

"Whys that?" I asked dropping the V neck on the bed.

"Because you already have jeans on and I know your going to wear your hair up, that alone is as simple as you can get so why not go for something more flattering?" Liam explained. This is exactly why I contacted him in the first place, and he claimed he didn't know much about fashion. Who was he trying to fool?

"Flattering?"

"Yeah, it flatters your figure" he said.

"Does it?" I asked pulling the top over my head.

"Absolutely" he nodded bringing the mug to his lips. I smoothed out the bottom and did a small twirl so he could see it.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"Perfect, let me guess, your going to be wearing flats?"

"How'd you know?" I asked. I picked up my laptop and brought it to my dresser so I could do my makeup.

"Your not much of a girly girly and all you own is sneakers, boots and flats" he chuckled.

"I wear make up and get my nails done-"

"But you almost only wear sweats and sneaks and you're a football fan. You never wear your hair down and you don't own any jewelry besides that necklace you your Dad gave you"

"Okay so maybe I'm not much of girly girly but I'm no dude" I started straight into the mirror in front of me and smooth the liquid foundation on my face, blending it little by little so I didn't have much on.

"Way to beautiful to be a dude." Liam winked at me leading me to smile.
I continued with my makeup while Liam told me the do's and don't's about collage. I believe he was trying to scare me a bit. I brushed through my hair to get all the knots and tangles out and pulled it into a ponytail, with that I was finished.
