We're just neighbors!

Natsu's P.O.V

"Knock knock~!" I playfully said out loud as I began to knock hardly on the door.

"Who's there~?!" A voice behind the door called back, playing along.

"Your Neighbor!"

"Your neighbor who~?"

"Your neighbor Natsu! Open the door already!" I was getting impatient.

"Yes! Yes!" The door opened and revealed the owner of the voice, Juvia. "Natsu, if you're gonna play a game, play it till the end! You don't have to get so impatiently angry~" she said as she giggled jokingly.

"Yeah! Yeah!" I pouted.

"Come!" She motioned for me to get in the house. The moment I stepped in, I ran over to the couch and jumped on it.

"Haaaa~" I exhaled loudly as I let myself sink in the soft blue couch.

"Want some coffee?" She called from the kitchen.

"Yup!" I said, popping the 'p'.

I closed my eyes while relaxing on the couch. I heard a kettle boil and some coffee cups bumping into each other while she was preparing some coffee. She was humming a song happily as well.

Some time later I heard the coffee cups being put on the coffee table.

"Here you go!" She said. I opened my eyes and looked over at the two coffee cups on the table. She took one, sat on a chair near the couch and starting sipping on it.

"Fairy, where you going~? Hm hm hm~ hm hm hm hm hm hm..." She sang before singing the rest of the song, taking breaks to sip on her coffee.

"Hrmm...?" I made a sound as I sat up and gave her a questioning look. I took the coffee cup and warmed up my hands with it. Yeah, I can take the heat. "Something happened today?"

She put her coffee down  and smiled at me.
"Yeah! Today Juvia met this boy! He was soooo handsome! Juvia thinks She fell in love  with him at first sight!" She blurted out. I arched an eyebrow at her. Seconds later she realized what she just said and quickly covered her mouth with her hands. "Oops..." She mumbled.

"Huh~? So who's this 'handsome guy'~? I teased as I leaned forward. Her face began heating up,

"J-Juvia will not tell Natsu!"

Apparently Juvia sometimes speaks in third person, especially when it's about herself.

I pouted and leaned back on the chair as I began drinking my coffee. I gulped it all down and out it on the coffee table in front of us.

"Why not~?" I whined.

"B-because it's embarrassing!"

"Heh~? That's not a good excuse! Come on! We're basically siblings!"

"No! Juvia and Natsu. are. Not. Siblings! We're just neighbors! Everyone just calls us as siblings!"

"But we're such good friends! I mean, we've known each other since kinder!"

"S-so?!"

"So you can trust me! Come on, tell me~! Please~?" I gave her the puppy eyes. She tried to look away from my pleading gaze, but couldn't help it.

"Fine..." She surrendered.

"Yes!" I exclaimed as I punched the air with my fist in victory.

Juvia rolled her eyes before taking her coffee from the table and looking down at it again.

"It's... Its..." She started to talk. "Its.... G..Gray F-Fullbuster....."

My eyes widen at her answer.

"WHAT?!!?" I shouted as I bounced up from the couch. "YOU MEAN THAT
STRIPPER?!!"

"Huh?! Do you not like him?!!"

"How could you like a guy like that?!!! He's so-"

"Handsome! Hot! No, so COOL and AWESOME~ Kyaa~" Juvia started to fangirl as she held her hands together and swayed side to side. It was my turn to roll my eyes. When Juvia calmed down, she asks a question,

"Say, why don't you like him?"

"Huh? Did you not know?! In school we're always fighting! After all we're rivals."

"Juvia didn't know that Natsu and Gray are rivals..." She looked up at the ceiling.

"Ha! And you say you love him! you hardly even know him!" I chuckled loudly.

"Don't you know
what love at first sight is?!! Juvia's Love is strong!" She defended as she clenched her blue t-shirt.

"Yeah, yeah..." I mumbled as I laid back down on the couch. "Oh by the way, where's the food."

"Wha-...?!"

"You didn't make dinner? I only came here for food."

"NATSU'S SO GREEDY!"

OK so, author here!

Just so YA know... This is kinda like a story I do when I can't think of other things to write for other stories. It's kinda like my "extra free time thing".

Plus I've never really seen fanfics of brOTP's of Natsu and Juvia. I thought It might be interesting to write something different. just so you know, I COMPLETY ship NaLu and GruVia, so don't get any wrong ideas about this fanfic. It's just a fanfic of a world in which Natsu and Juvia help each other. Well, basically they do, if you look carefully into the manga. But yeah... ;)
