Confessing to their best friends

Natsu's P.O.V

I went home and laid myself across my bed.

"Arghh..." I moaned as I looked up at the ceiling. Why is it that I can't talk to Lucy??? What's wrong with me?! This sucks so much, even Gray can talk to her...

I turned to the side,

"Plus there wasn't any chicken left..."

I heard a faint ring of a bell. I got up and slowly made my way to the door. The bell kept on ringing constantly.

"Yeah! Yeah! I'm coming!" I shouted then opened the front door. Juvia was waiting outside with an umbrella, standing in the rain.

"Yo... Juvia. You know you didn't have to ring the bell so much, right? You'll break it if you do," I commented. She rolled her eyes and pushed me back in, closing the door behind her. "Woah. You're in a bad mood."

She put down her umbrella in the racks and took off her shoes. Then she made her way to my red couch and sat down, just staring at the T.V screen.

"You.. Ok?" I asked as I sat down next to her.

"Make Juvia some coffee," she commanded.

"...What...?"
She looked over and glared at me,

"Make Juvia some coffee!"

"B-but I don't know how?!?"

"Does Natsu know how to do anything?! Argh!" She got up and stormed her way to the kitchen.

Juvia can be scary sometimes....

"Natsu... How do you even live alone..." She sighed.

"But I don't, really. Most of the time you come over here, or I go over there!"

She stared at me blankly. Then she went back to making coffee,

"Is Natsu saying he relies on Juvia? Natsu, you're such a baby!"

"Am not! I do part time jobs!" I blurted out. She started at me again.

"You... Do...?"

"Y-yeah!"

"Natsu does? Natsu? Doing a part time job...? Ahahahah!" She started laughing out loud as she slid to the floor. I became annoyed at her actions as she kept laughing.

"B-but it's true! I do do part time jobs!"

"Ahahaha! Juvia can't imagine Natsu doing part time jobs! Ahahahah! Natsu can't even make coffee! Ahahah!" She started rolling on the floor. My face started to heat up a bit at her words,

"I'm telling you I do part time jobs! I work at a Gas station!" She stared at me again before laughing out loud again,

"Ahaha! Of course you would! But... Juvia thought that Natsu would blow up the station by now! Ahahaha!"

I got up from the couch,

"Well I didn't! See! It's proof I'm capable of stuff!" I exclaimed. She got up, calming herself down as she wiped away some tears.

"Ok, ok, but Juvia wants to see Natsu working at the gas station one day."

I pouted as I sat back down. When she finished making the coffee, she brought me a cup as well and sat down at the couch next to me.

"Thanks," I said as I drank some coffee.

She smiled at me for a while before looking down at her coffee, upset.

"Um, Juvia has something to tell Natsu about. Juvia didn't have a good day today because Juvia noticed Gray-sama next to Lucy all the time. Juvia felt so bad because Juvia always sees Gray-sama happy with someone else. Juvia think that maybe Juvia doesn't have a part in Gray-sama's life... That maybe Lucy is supposed to be with Gray-sama... That's why Juvia was in a bad mood when Juvia came in..." She confessed.

I looked at Juvia feeling sad about the whole situation. I understood what she feels like because I feel the same way about Lucy.

I patted her head and she looked over at me.

"Don't worry, things will always work out better that you expect it to be," I said as I gave her the brightest smile I've got. She smiled at me back,

"Thank you, Natsu."

We both looked at our coffee and drank some more. Then I looked up at the ceiling. I wasn't the only one who felt bad about those two. Juvia was also grieving about the face that she can't get close to the one she loves. I wish that I could do something about it...

Then I thought about it again.

I can do something about it.

I looked over at Juvia again and asked her,

"How about we help each other?"

She looked at me with a questioning look,

"Huh?"

"I also have something to say," I confessed, "I love Lucy..." My heart started thumping harder just by saying the name, "and I.... Love her... As much as you love that ice Popsicle! S-so how about we help each other?!"

"... Natsu loves Lucy?" She asked as she blinked once or twice.

"Y-yes I do! Now can you get to the point and answer the question! Yes or no?!"

"Hm~ I didn't know Natsu loves someone~"

"I said get straight to the point!"
