Natsu's P.O.V

I stood in line for food with Gajeel and Gray in front of me. I was so tried of all the mess, and being with Lucy seemed to only make it worse. This isn't what I wanted, I should've checked with Juvia, dammit. Now things are so awkward wherever I go, and I hate it.

Gajeel and Gray started to laugh harder the more they talked, so I decided to join in the conversation.

"...And after all that chaos, he only made it worse  by admitting to everyone that he was the one who accidentally touched the girls leg!" Gray exclaimed. Gajeel send off a thundering laugh,

"Holy shi--- seriously?! Gahaha! That poor Frederick! He seriously needs to get his life straight, gihi."

"Wait, who did what?" I asked, a smile curling up my lips. Gray raised an eyebrow,

"Weren't you listening bro? Dude, you need to start paying attention more to life," he commented. I felt a nerve pop out from my forehead, and I grabbed Grays collar,

"What did you say, you pantsy ice-stripper?"

"That you needed to get a life, flame brain," he shot back. I clenched my fist and showed it to his face,

"Oh I'll show you what getting a life means-"

"Hey! Stop the gang up, guys," Gajeel interrupted by pushing us apart. He then furrowed his eyebrows at me, "dude what's up with you these days? You've been getting more heated up than usual." I sighed,

"Gah, well, you see..."

"Hey! Found you Natsu!" I heard the most sweetest voice say. I quickly turned my head to see Lucy walk up to me.

"Uh, hey there, Lucy," I said, nearly stammering.

"Well, think I can join you guys in line?" She asked, giggling in the process.

"Sure thing," Gray replied with a smile. I gritted my teeth when Lucy stood next to him.

"So guys, what have you been up to lately?"

"Bought a new game recently. Battlefield," Gajeel stated. I felt my mouth drool.

"Oh dang, that's awesome! Can I join you over the weekend?" Lucy asked with delight. All three of us looked at her with wide eyes.

"You play?!" Gajeel exclaimed. Lucy nodded.

"Bro, that's... That's cool," Gray ruffled his fingers through his hair.

"Why don't we game this weekend? At Gajeel's?" I encouraged, nudging my head over to Gajeel. He smirked. Lucy clapped her hands,

"Heck ya, that'd be cool! Hey Gajeel, what's you home address?"

Lunch ended and everyone got up to go to class. I took my plate and made my way to the dispensing tray, but Lucy stopped me. I turned my head and raised an eyebrow at her.

"Hey Natsu, we're going to the same class, right? Let's walk together," she suggested.

"Uh, yeah sure, just let me put away this plate," I replied. She nodded. I went over to the tray, Lucy following me by the tail. "What's up Lucy?" I asked. For some reason, I was less nervous around her. I don't know why.

"Well, I talked to Juvia. I saw you run away after talking to her, that's why. What was that about?"

"Huh? Oh well I uh-"
