8:55 AM- 'Sans, are you home?"
8:55 AM- *Yeah. Just woke up actually. Aren't you in school kiddo?
8:56 AM- 'No. Well, yes, but no. It's a long story.
Can I come over?'8:57 AM- *I guess, Pap is out though so it'll be just me. Is everything okay?
8:58 AM- 'Yeah, there was just some stuff that came up. I'm walking to your house now.'
8:58 AM- *On my way to meet you.
Before I could text back to tell him not to come, Sans was suddenly in front of me. Thank goodness we weren't anywhere near the school. I felt Sans would be in some kind of danger there.
"Hey kid, trying to skip out on skull-Whoa Frisk! What happened to you?!" Sans instantly became worried and looked me over.
"I'm fine," I say, looking away from Sans. "Can we go please?"
The skeleton nodded. We began to walk and suddenly a blue light blocked my vision but only for a second before it was replaced with the view of Sans' living room.
I sighed as Sans lead me to the couch and gently sat me down."Frisk you're bleeding." He said, pulling at my torn sleeves. He then scratched his skull. "I dunno where Pap puts the first aid kit, but I have band aids. I'll be right back." He walked to the bathroom and returned with the band aids and a wet wash cloth.
As he cleaned the sand and rocks from my scrapes, I tried to focus on other things to keep my mind off the pain. Sadly, that attempt failed when Sans barely touched the scrapes with the warm wash cloth. It stung terribly, and I sucked in a breath and tensed up.
Sans looked up at me and shook his head. "Sorry friend, I gotta clean these for you..." He then continued. "How did this happen Frisk?" His eyes landed on mine, and I felt a spark in my chest.
I looked away from Sans. I decided this would be a good way to distract myself. I told him everything, from the kid taking my books to what he said and what he did to me. I told him about the teacher and how I was worried for everyone's safety.
"I can tell ya one thing kiddo, the only person who will be hurting is that boy next time I see him."
Panic shot through me. "Sans no, that would only proves his point."
"Self defense and justice would prove that monsters are evil?" Sans asked, looking up at me.
"No, but he would use it to his advantage. People would twist the truth..."
Sans only nodded. "I see your point, but Frisk." I looked at Sans and watched as his white pupils disappeared. "If he does this to you again, I'm cracking skulls." His voice was dark and a scary, unsettling aura surrounded him.
I took a deep breath in before speaking.
"Did you just quote The Breakfast Club?"
Sans' pupils came back and he chuckled. "Heh, you actually caught that kid? You know your movies. Pap won't stop watching it." His normal attitude was back, and a wave of relief washed over me.
"But I am being serious. He'd better watch his back bone." He couldn't even be serious now without a bad pun thrown in there.
Sans then stuck the last band aid on my arm and stood up. "There, looks great!"
I looked down at my arm. Band aids were literally scattered all over my arms. It looked like a bad patch job, but I appreciated his attempt at fixing my arms up. I'd wrap my arms on my own later."Thank you Sans," I said softly and smiled.
"It's no problem kiddo, anytime you need me I'll be there," Sans nodded before sitting next to me.
We sat in silence for a little bit, and my eyelids were beginning to feel very very heavy. Slowly I began to drift off to sleep just before Sans spoke up.
"Say, you wanna-" His words trailed off and a soft chuckle followed after. The last thing I remembered was feeling myself being lifted from the couch and laying my head on Sans' chest.
