"You are all the colors                                                                                                                                                                         in one                                                                                                                                                at full brightness"

She lay under the dark sky and bright stars, floating on the water, her arms spread as if she was flying. She had been there for hours, allowing the calm of the water to soak in. It was beginning to get cool, and there were fireflies glowing around the edge of the water.

As she dragged herself from the lagoon, she tried to spot her clothes. They weren't where she had left them. Haruko sat on one of the trees surrounding the lagoon. In his pale hand were Chihiro's clothes but in the other were three beautiful pale blue roses, they were sparkling in his hands. Chihiro's eyes moved to Haruko's face, he was glowing red. Then Chihiro remembered, she ran into the bushes and tied a huge leaf around her waist and up her ribs. She then climbed up the tree were Haruko sat. She blushed profusely as she grabbed her clothes and proceeded to get changed faster than she ever had before in her whole life.

When she returned, Haruko was fidgeting and twiddling with the flowers. " These are from Goyo, " Haruko spoke harshly " He wants you to visit him in his palace immediately. " " Will you at least tell me who he is? Or where he knows me from? " And then he disappeared into the light fog that started appearing between the branches of the tree.

She was left alone " Coward, " she mumbled under her breath but she couldn't bring herself to hate him. There was more to this story than she was being told and she couldn't judge. She had done her fair share of terrible things. Her face became pained as the flashback began.

She was running through the barren desert, and her feet burned from the constant running on the boiling sand, the car, and the dead bodies of her family were left behind. She ran, couldn't believe, she's the one of blame. If she wouldn't have been driving none of this would have happened. If only she let Nana drive , none of this would ever happen. She was left in the middle of the dessert. Lost. Not knowing the way back. That had been years ago. Way before the skies had turned grey and people who weren't considered special enough were cast away. Doomed to fight for survival. The world had changed and so had the people in it. The lucky ones lived in cities where technology was unbelievable and lives were comfortable and luxurious. The rest scavenged and moved, murdered and stole to keep themselves alive in the post-apocalyptic world. She had been one of these people. Flashback ends.
