His eyes held secrets She wasn't sure She wanted to know.
She stood before the magnificent castle that glittered in the midday sun. She had been watching it from a distance for a couple of days now but it didn't compare to standing before it up close. She took a deep breath and walked closer. She would have to wait for somebody to notice her.
Then the golden gates opened and Haruko stood before her, holding a rope, the rope was tied around a fierce, silver-coated wolf.
Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of the majestic animal. She was angered by the sight of it tied up so cruelly. However just before she began to object, Haruko untied it and it fled into the forest. Haruko watched it until it was out of sight. Then he saw Chihiro.
"How did you get here? It isn't safe down in the woods." "A friend helped me" she smiled mysteriously. "I was just about to come and get you. I have a lot to talk to you about," he sighed. "I'm sure you do. First I need something to eat and drink," she said shyly. "Walk up the stairs, Goyo is up there he shall feed you. I'll be waiting for you in the lagoon. Hurry up." His eyes darkened. He leaned on his palms. His nose grew longer in seconds and his eyes narrowed. He was a wolf....a majestic...wolf. His fur was white just like the castle.
Then he was gone. Chihiro caught a glimpse of him behind the trees. "How am I supposed to find you?" she called after him but there was no answer. Typical. She turned and built up the courage to enter the castle. The gates were open and the path was marked by beautiful blue flowers that bloomed as she passed them.
Soon she saw many people scattering in the shadows whispering to each other. She could only pick up broken sentences
"It's her." "Poor girl." "She's the one..." "...marry..."
