Hwanhee twisted and turned in his bed, unable to get enough sleep because of the amount of light in the room. After struggling for a few minutes, he opened his eyes and let the sunshine wake him up. He stared at the roof and huffed, frustrated at the lack of sleep he got. UP10TION was slowly rising to popularity. And it seems that the more popular you get, the less sleep you get. And that, for Hwanhee, is the worst that could happen. He doesn't care even if his bedroom is on fire or if Xiao who was supposed to sleeping next to him is eating his chocolate. He just needs his sleep. And even if either events happen, he is determined to sleep through that as well.

He ran his hand through his strangely shorter hair. Between his fingers, his own hair felt strangely longer and...green?

Hwanhee slowly rose from the bed, stretching his arms well above his head. He let out a lion's roar instead of a quiet yawn. This almost startled a sound asleep Xiao next to him, who was fortunately a pretty deep sleeper. He's pretty much dead to the world.

The said boy's eyes blinked open a little, and then closed them back again as he drifted off to sleep. Hwanhee, who was sitting up in a stiff position for too long, relaxed and rubbed his sleepy eyes.

They were more rounder under his touch.

The singer stretched and yawned again (more like enough to wake the dead) while getting off his bed and headed to the bathroom. Getting up earlier than his hyungs was rare enough, but his face and body felt weird as he shifted his weight on his two penguin feet.

Hwanhee opened the bathroom and started to do his usual morning business. The cold summer morning was even cooler than the days before, which was very strange. He tried to clear his throat to get rid of the mucus stuck in his throat, and was surprised to find his own voice an octave lower than usual. His voice was already deep and husky enough, but the voice he now owned sounded vaguely similar...

Convincing himself that it was just his morning voice, he continued with his usual morning routine. Pee, brush teeth and wash his face.

His face.

Not his face. His face.

"Oh my god!" A shriek escaped the maknae hyung's lips. "NO!"

Or should he say, Changyun's lips.

Hwanhee ran to his bed and searched for his phone. He searched everywhere, except underneath Xiao. He knew it was too cruel, but the older ended up having to push off Xiao from the bed.

"Jinhoos swinging from tree to tree..." Xiao muttered as he remained asleep, the only injury visible on the right side of his face.

Frustration and worry turned into short-lived joy when he found his precious phone underneath Xiao's pillow. He doesn't know why his best friend had his phone, but that wasn't what he was worried about now.

He needs to get a hold of his hyung.

Heehee: HYUNG WtF IS haPPENINF

Hwanhee's fingers tapped on Xiao's head, who was still too sleepy to notice little strands of his hair getting pulled out. The silver-haired boy almost screamed in anticipation. When will his hyung reply?

As the arms on the clock ticked by, more patience drained out of Hwanhee. Time was infinite, but not Hwanhee's endurance to sit still. When the clock struck exactly 8 am, Hwanhee leapt to his feet and ran to his hyung's shared dorm. Unfortunately, he shared the room as none other than Wei.

And just to make things worse, he was holding his ahem while he stared at his phone as it quietly played a video of some guy moaning. He briefly looked up at the younger, glanced back at his phone, and then snapped back at Hwanhee. He breathed in sharply, and slowly moved his head in the direction of Changyun, who was now sound asleep in his body.
