You say that I am

You say that I am...

A geek,

A nerd,

A nobody,

A know-it-all,

A weirdo,

An outsider.

You say that I am a nobody, but you just don't know my friends.

You say that I am a know-it-all, but you only ask me easy questions.

You say that I am a weirdo, but you obviously haven't seen the crazy cat lady that lives just down the road.

You put a label on my tin,
Slightly peeling at the
Edges can never apply.

You try to fit me in,
But the ceiling cannot
Hold my resolve always.

You tell me to be thin,
And lose a few brain cells on
The way for me is not defined.

The mould doesn't fit my shape,
No worries-
you got nothing on titanium
(Spirit)

You're using salt on the
Sweet expression on my face.
Sugar, you should know by now,
Your letter filled daggers
Can't cut paper if
It couldn't care less.

And you do not really know me.
But the corridors sure as hell know you.
(And it just so happens corridor shadows are my favourite places)

And what Susie says of Sally says more of Susie than of Sally.

You say that I am a nobody, but to billions of people you might as well not exist.

You say that I am a know-it-all, but to any child you'd seem the same.

You say that I am a weirdo, but I think the fact that you take out your time to tell me I'm a waste of time is weird.

Sharp tounged insults make a difference,
But genuine love makes more.

I hope you liked it and if so please vote and comment!! I wrote this when I was feeling down about what someone had said to me so hopefully this poem will give you confidence if a similar thing has happened to you too! Thanks for your support and be happy no matter what any one says! :) :) :)
