CHAPTER 9

I woke up to the sound of rustling coming from the window area of my room.maybe it's only my dog...WAIT I DONT HAVE A DOG!!. At this point I already flung my eyes open and sat up from my bed. As my eyes explored my room everything seemed normal,maybe I was just imagining things.
"Ahhh" I said as I turned around to look at my nightstand. There was a man figure standing beside me. The man put his hand around my mouth,but I bit it. As he took his hand back,I took it as a chance and jumped out of bed. I was running towards my bathroom."ooh, I forgot something." I said to myself. I didn't take self defence classes for nothing,I can defend myself and not hide. I turned from my path to the bathroom and made my way back. It was hard to find this figure,but when I did I punched him right in the balls. He tumbled in pain as I went towards the light switch.
As my eyes adjusted to the light,I saw the one and only Derek in the corner,still on his knees.
"Now I know not to come through your window." He said after he recovered,now he was sitting on top of my bed,with a band-aid wrapped around his hand.
"What are you doing here at two am?" I asked, sudently remembering the intruder.
" I told you,we need to talk"
"AT TWO IN THE MORNING!!"
"In my defence, I couldn't sleep.."
"So you decited to come and stalk me in my sleep??"
"No I was going to wake you up and we were going to talk."
"Well I'm all ears. Talk before I regret seeing you."
I can't belive he acually came at two am,he better say something important. I don't want to forgive him,do I?.
"I care about you," he started saying.
"Bullcrap,if you cared about me then you wouldn't be over there making out with random sluts." I stated.
"I was confused,ok? I've never loved someone as strongly as you. I didn't know what to do..so I did what I do best,be a player. I went to the party and she kissed me first,I....I.." he said in tears.
"I actually had feelings for you,and you broke my haert. Your the reason why I don't trust boys anymore.."I said as I felt a tear rolling down my cheek.
"AND YOU DONT THINK I DIDNT CRY? YOU DONT KNOW THE PAIN I FELT WHEN I SAW YOU WITH THAT JACOB GUY!!"
"THE PAIN YOU FELT!!"I chuckled."I WAS JUST GETTING PAST YOU,AND THIS AWESOME GUY ASKS ME ON A DATE.."I answered angerly. This boy broke my haert,and still has the guts to say that he felt sad wen I went on a date with another guy? That sounds so selfish.
"I still love you,alice.."he said in a wisper.
"Well I dont." Lies,lies,lies. But I can't let him in that easily,I'm not one of those girls who are easy to get. He broke my haert,he doesn't deserve me.
"All I can offer you is my frienship. We can become friends and pretend nothing of this ever happened."
"But I want this to happen I lov-"
"QUIT IT DEREK!! All I can offer is my friendship,leave it or take it." I cut him half way through his sentence.
He had a long sigh before saying "if being friends is all it takes to see your beautiful face,then we will be friends again." I smiled. Finally I can have my bestfriend back. I missed talking to him,laughing with him and doing basically everything together.
"You have to go now." I said as we made our way to the front door. He stopped right in front of the door.
"I don't wanna go. Can I stay with you?"he said with a pout.
"Dereek...you know you cant."
"Please I won't try anything bad, I promise. I just need to see your face longer."
"Wow Derek, wen did you become so needy?" I said with a laugh.
"Sice I lost you" he smirked.
I missed that smirk, I used to hate it. But now I feel like staring at his beautiful smile forever.
"Ok" I finally said. "But your going to sleep in the couch" I told him.
After he had blanket and was snuggled in the couch, I felt exhausted. Today I beat up a intruder,fought with my ex friend and finally made friends with my ex-bestfriend. And it was only four am in the morning. I walked in my room and layed in my bed,pulled the covers on top of me and fell on a deep sleep.

I smell something,is that cologne?I flung my eyes open and saw there was someone in the bed besides me.
"WHAT THE HELL DEREK!!"I yelled at the top of my lungs,making wake up.
"Wa,what do you want alice?"he sounded rather annoyed than worried about what I'm going to do to him.
"What do you mean "What do I want?" I want to know why the hell your in my bed!!" I hissed.
"Ooh, that...I um.. it started to rain and i could hear thunder." His face was red like tomato.I smiled,remembering his extreme gear of thunder when we were little.
"Omg,your still afraid of thunder?" He nodded his head shyly and laughed a little. I laughed with him untill my side's started to hurt. After wiping some tears from my eyes I got up from my bed and went to the restroom. After finishing my morning routine, I opened my bathroom door and saw Derek changing his shirt. Ooh God, he was shirtless. I can see all his muscles flexing as he's looking through my drawers. Wait,my drawers? What is he looking for?
"What are you doing,derek?"I questioned as I made my way to were he was standing.
"I left a shirt here the other day.ahhhhaa found it.!"he said triumphantly. Getting out a Ben 10 t-shirt.
"Your going to look ridiculous." I said. No he isn't,I thought. He always looks gorgeous in everything.
"Whatever." He said as he put the shirt on. That Ben 10 shirt was wen we were fourteen uears old,he liked the show and bought a t-shirt.One night he slept over for like a week and forgot it here ever since. I seriously didn't remember I had it in my drawer.
I walked to my closet and pondered about what to wear. I decited to wear my panic at the disco t-shirt with my ripped skinny jeans,and black flats.
I began taking my shirt off,then my pants.
"Looking good." I heard Derek say.crap, I forgot he was here. I turned around and saw that Derek was right in front of me,like five in chefs away. I blushed at the thought of him coming any closer. I can't though, we just became friends again. I can't fall for him, I need to know if he's just going to play with me again or if he's acually serious of loving me.
"Back away Derek," I tryed to push him back,but he didn't even flinch, it's like he was glued to the ground. Or maybe I was weak? Who knows?
"What am I making you nervous."he smirked as he put his hand on my waist.
"N-no." I stammered.
"I think I am." He said as he was coming closer. Now we were only two inches away from each other. In the outside I acted tuff,like I didn't want him this close to me. But in the inside I was dyeing to kiss those full, red lips. He smirked and backed away. I sigh at the thought of him not trying anything. He winked at me before leaving the room.wow, I really want to be with him. But it's to soon.
I finished getting dressed and made my way to the living room. When I walked in,Derek was sitting down in the couch,he was watching a new episode of steven univise. What is it with him and kids shows? I guess he just loves them.
I sat down next to him and stared at the t.v. with him. I don't get it. At all. I stared at Derek instead, he looked like he was so focused in the episode. Every time that Steven kid fought, his eyes grew wide and his jaw clenched.
Finally the episode was over and he turned to look at me and smiled.
"See anything that you like?" He said with a smirk.
"You wish."I said as I rolled my eyes and got up from the couch. He followed me to the kitchen,where I grabbed my phone and checked my notifications.

Aww. He acually was patient and was willing to wait for a while to ask me on a date. I guess he couldn't wait any longer. I think I do want to go on a date with him.
I stared at my screen before typing:
Alice: sure I wanna go on a date with you. It'll be fun:)
"Your seriously going on a date with him?" I turned around to see Derek. Reading over my shoulder.
