'Just say yes now and I won't have to spike your drink.'
Chapter 2 | The Breakup
My mother always told me that if a guy really loved you, he'd do anything to show it. He'd try his hardest to fight for anything that will get in the way to show his love. She told me that some guys come in your life for a reason but don't always intend on staying too long, and that would be the main reason why I didn't believe in love.
Her advice was that if a kiss can make you feel things you've never felt before then there's a spark between the two. If the special moments become cherished memories then the magnetic pull between the two is growing.
When the laughs you share become an automatic thing for the two then the hearts are beating for the other. And when the words are spoken and they are enough to bring weakness to your body then the love is increasing in ways that can't be described.
That's probably the only great advice that happened to stick with me for all my life and those very same words have yet to destroy me.
Just about a year ago I remember when I had first met this great guy, and his name was Raymond. He had the cutest blue eyes and the curliest black locks and even though we hadn't even known each other for so long, I somehow felt the attraction, more than I've ever felt with anyone before. We used to have those night together where we'd watch movies until dawn and without the awkwardness, I cuddled with him to sleep.
Now, you're probably wandering where this is all actually going to, right?
Well, it was one of those night where I'd sleep over at his house, on the weekends and we'd have a movie marathon and whoever stayed awake the longest won and the prize was whatever the other person wishes.
Well, long story short, I didn't win.
And I remember feeling that my ego just got a little bruised but nonetheless he wanted me to do something for him because he won.
And a kiss was something I didn't expect.
His blue eyes literally gazed into my own and it was though he could see into my heart because even though I didn't want to kiss him because he was a close friend, I really wanted his lips on mine at that moment. And so we kissed. Cue the awkwardness. Then he stared kissing me more. I kissed back. Subtract the clothes. More kissing. More touching.
And then about six boys ran into the room and that happened to be the most weirdest moment of my life. In the matter of minutes Raymond was out of the door and running out the house and after I grabbed my clothes and pulled them on, I followed the boys.
The thing was, I never expected the day to end how it did. It was kinda those days where you just just replay what just happened and wonder if it was all real. Everything I felt and everything I saw was real and I'd be lying if I said it didn't effect me as much as I thought it would.
♕Flashback♕
I watched as the boys all grabbed masks from their cars and grabbed weapons from the boot of the car. I crept behind the dustbins and tilted my head slightly so I was able to see what the guys were doing.
"What did I tell you guys about going out at night?" I heard Raymond bark out. I winced at his beckoning voice and I couldn't help but think where the soft and calm Raymond that I was with a few minutes ago went.
"We just went out to the bar for a couple of drinks but we didn't expect to see Blaze and the guys there!" A guy replied and the sounds of metal clacking followed. I peered over the dustbin and pursed my lips as I saw Raymond grabbing a big black hoody before shrugging it on.
