♛ H A T H O R ♛

As I walked the cold streets of Brooklyn, I zipped up my jacket to try and trap the little heat I had left. I was on my way to Yummy's which is 5 blocks away from my apartment. No I don't have a car, because I never felt the need to get one. I was about 3 1/2 blocks away when it started raining.

"You've got to be fuckin kidding me," I mumbled to myself.

I put on my hood and tightened the strings so my hair wouldn't get wet. I started to put a little pep in my step so I wouldn't be in the rain for too long. I heard a car slow up beside me and I just glanced over to see an all-white Range Rover. I rolled my eyes and continued walking, only two more blocks.

"Are you going to ignore me or are you going to get in?" A familiar voice yelled at me.

I stopped and saw Damien smiling at me. I smiled back, and then ran to the passenger's side of his car. I got in, not bothering to buckle up since we're only two blocks away, and took my hood off.

"I told yo ass to get a car," Damien said pulling up at a red light.

"I don't need one Damien," I said trying to warm myself up.

"Fine, next time I'm just gon let you walk yo ass in the rain," he said driving again.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay," I stated plainly.

I was not in the mood to hear Damien's mouth right now. If I wanted a car, I could simply just buy one. I understand that he cares for me, but I'm not actually his child and he's not going to treat me like one. He pulled into a parking space, and I quickly got out.

"You're welcome T!" He yelled as I walked to the entrance of the building.

I just ignored him and walked in. I went straight to my separate dressing room, and got dressed in tonight's outfit. I plugged in my flat iron and waited for it to heat up. While that was happening, I walked into my bathroom and washed my, now messed up, make-up off my face. I don't wear as much make-up as my coworkers, just eyeliner and lip gloss. When I'm not working I wear no make-up at all, I believe in natural beauty. I reapplied some eyeliner and pink lip gloss, and then started to straighten my hair.

As I straightened out my last curl, there was a knock at my door. I finished straightening the curl, then turned off my flat iron and unplugged it. I walked over to my door and slightly opened it.

"You've been requested Hathor," my favorite security guard, Leo, told me.

I looked back at the clock on my wall, and it read 8:55, my shift starts in 5 minutes. I looked back at Leo, who had his back to me watching the club. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"Come back here in five minutes, that's when my shift starts."

He nodded his head and I closed my door. I walked over to the couch I had in here, and sat down. I applied some lotion to my legs and arms, and then slipped on my heels. I walked over to my full body mirror and made sure everything was on point. I smiled to myself, then plugged my phone up to its charger and walked out of my dressing room. Leo walked up to me and folded his arm so I could grab on to it. He escorted me to the V.I.P area and motioned for me to sit down on the couch.
