We both got out and walked towards the front doors. When I reached my locker I started to look for the books that I needed for 1st period.

Samuel walked up to me and hugged me from behind.

"I missed you babe" aghh his deep voice makes me shiver..

"I missed you too" I turned around to face him smiling and gave him a kiss.

He walked me to class. I never really quite thought about it till now but but he hardly talks to me.

I got to my class and he just walked away. What is his problem?? He was starting to make me curious. I went in to my class and grabbed a seat in the back.

Today went by real slowly and I hardly even saw Samuel. Today really sucked. I walked outside and waited by my car for Ally. She came out a little bit later talking to her teacher about a science experiment. She was really good at science.

We got in my car and headed towards her house so I could drop her off.

"Bye Ally ... Text me" I yelled before she shut the door

"Okay soph."

That was my nickname from Ally, she called me Soph. And I called her Al. It was short and simple.

She shut the door and walked away as I pulled out. I drove home while thoughts clouded my mind. Next thing I know I was sitting in my driveway. I headed on inside, leaving my bag in my car. I didn't have any homework, so what the harm. I put my keys on the key rings. My mother's keys weren't there so she was probably out. I went to my room and laid on my bed. I got out my laptop and started playing music.

My phone started vibrating so I picked it up and answer my mothers call. I put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sophie! I got great news"

"What's that mom?"

"I gotta promotion!!"

"That's great mama!!"

"But I also got some bad news..."

"Yeah...?"

"It means we have to move to Arizona."

The phone call was silent I didn't know what to say... Two states over?? *They live in Texas*

"Sophie?"

"When..?" That was my only question I knew I couldn't fight with her. She was a doctor and she wanted to be one of the major doctors.

"We have to pack tonight and we will head out tomorrow afternoon so no school."

"Ok." She could hear the sadness in my voice

"Sophie? Are yo..." I cut her off before she could finish

"I'll go get the boxes out of the attic" I hung up. I couldn't believe this. I went and got the boxes and brought some into my room.

I had most of my room packed when she got home. I have about a weeks worth amount of clothes in a suit case that I could use for the drive. Although I probably won't need that much.

She came to my room and gave me a big hug.

"I love you Sophie"

"I love you too mama"

She gave me a sad smile as she pulled away. I assume she went to pack. I listened to make sure she was out of range and I called Ally.

"Hello?"

"Hey Al."

"What's up?"

I broke out in tears.

"Sophie what's wrong!??"

"Ally. I'm moving."

"What!??"

"Yeah."

"To where?"

"Arizona"

"Soph.? Who all knows?"

"You"

"Are you gonna tell Samuel?"

"Yeah... I think I'll call him in a little bit."

"Go ahead, I'll come visit all the time I love you so much Sophie. I need you to come say goodbye tomorrow at least."

"Okay" I could tell she was upset and she needs to calm down. I ended the call and hugged me flannel that I was wearing.
