Me and Grayson have been friends for almost a year now. It doesn't really seem like it at all. I feel like we have known each other for our whole lives.

I could consider him as my best friend but since we both think that it's stupid to give titles to any type of relationship, we don't have a "title" for our relationship. He understands me and I understand him. We have so much in common: from music taste, to favorite meals to weird dance moves. I feel like destiny put Grayson in my life. It was just meant to be. And I'm so thankful for that.

It was 1 in the morning and I was scrolling through my Instagram feed. It was Spring break so I didn't have to worry about waking up in the morning. I could just sleep in.

As I was scrolling through my feed, I got a text. It was from a friend of mine called Stella.

Stella:"Hey guuuurrrl! I know you're still up because I saw you peeping my new IG pic! I just wanted to let you know that Dominic ( her crush) cancelled the date we had tomorrow. Well anyways goodnight"

I texted her back.

Me: "Hey girl hey! Yeah, I had to like it, you look so gorgeous in that picture! And about Dominic, don't worry. He's the one who's missing out on somebody amazing like you! Goodnight!"

She didn't text back. I assumed she saw my text and went to bed because that's what she does. She texts people and then she doesn't text back for hours or not at all.

Meet my girl Stella. She is the funniest, most kindest person you will ever get to know. Sometimes she's not the best at giving advice but sometimes she's the best.

After 30 minutes, I get a text from her. Wow, that's a record for her. She only took 30 minutes to text back. That must be a miracle.

Stella:"Thank you so much bup! Yeah, he's an asshole anyways! But for real now, good night. I need to sleep. I'm so tired and I have to get up early tomorrow".

I just kept being on my phone until I got a call from Grayson.

Why is Gray calling me at 2 in the morning?
