"Everything in the Next Generation Project will be recorded live. Not only will people in Korea can see it, but people all over the world. If anything happens we will switch another camera and shoot something else instead. Understood?" We all nodded.

"There are only 10 spaces in this new group, which means 90 of you guys won't make it. First we will split you in groups of 20 under 5 leaders, then we will split you guys in groups of 10. After you perform with your new group of 10, we will split your group of 10 in half and you will compete with the other half. The half that wins get their points boosted by 100. Fans around all over the world will vote. Since we want to get real talent and not just popularity, SM Artists will also have a chance to vote. There is also one save card where we (Kathy, Jay, and others) can save an eliminated artist from being eliminated, but we can only save one." I worriedly held on to Cerlina's hand. This competition is no joke.

"Everyone stand up!" He checks his clipboard, "Under Jiwoo. Yoon Chaeyoung, Min Nayeon.." People with their names called start walking towards Jiwoo. Cerlina, Christina and I separated so other people can find us.

"You have 1 day to master your performances. You will only be performing the first chorus of your song so only teach that part. You are allowed to do special moves that you can add in yourselves that was never even a part of that dance. First, hang out a bit, introduce yourselves while you're waiting to get your picture taken." I sat down facing my group. I did not know anyone. Some I've seen before, but I never talked to any of them.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Wendy and I'm 14 years old, I've been training in SM for about 3 years now." I said awkwardly. They all smiled and greeted me.

After all that, we were the last group to take our pictures. The stylist did my makeup, gave me a set of really pretty clothes, curled my hair and tied the top half of it into a high ponytail. My hair is actually pretty long, I haven't cut it in 2 years. It almost reaches my waist. The stylist, named Isabelle, also dyed my hair in yellow highlight. My outfit was a black crop top that has glitter here and there. It has the "Barbie." logo in big letters in white, outlined with a dark purple. I also have a dark plaid flannel tied around my waist that overlaps my short jean shorts embedded with golden jewels. I looked at the mirror.

"Oh my god! I can stab someone with this wing." I looked at my eyeliner and intense eyelashes. "I look like I'm 20." I said to myself.

The camera man hands me a rose and told me to model with it. He took a thousand pictures and asked me to pick my favorite one.

"This one." I pointed to the picture where I was laying down with my feet off the floor, and I was playing with the rose.

After all of that, the five of us was called to take a picture together. We all happily smiled and took a picture together.

We all began to start practicing the next day early morning. Everyone was ready because this day is going to be long and tiring.

The five groups have took two practice rooms combined together each so they have all had space.

All the groups were working hard to prepare for their stage.

"You guys need to go down lower!" Jay, the dance teacher walks around here and there to give suggestions. "Wendy! Kick higher!"

"I am!" Wendy kicks as high as she could.

"That's it!" Jay smiles at her cuteness. He turns the corner and walks into the room with all the staff members.

"There will be one wild card." Manager Kan explains. "We can only bring one girl back to the show if she's eliminated. Only one."

"We don't have time to discuss this over the show, so put your bets in. We'll save this card for this person if she gets eliminated." Manager Kim puts his vote in.

"What if she never gets eliminated?" Kathy asked.

"Top 5." Manager Kan shows his palms.

"Definitely the centers." Manager Kim says.

"Ahri has been training here the longest out of the 5 of them. I mean the person dominating the show right now has to be Christina or Wendy." Stacy, the other dance teacher points out.

"Christina has a voice. She's definitely going to make it big one way or the other." Kathy added.

"Wendy is definitely the best dancer out of the 5 of them, not saying she has one heck of a voice too." Jay says.

"And to point out she's already been in a controversy and people know her. There's a chance she would be involved something again." Stella, who recently got hired, pointed out.

"Have we decided?" Manager Kan asked. They all nodded.

[Wendy]

"Wendy! Wendy!" Kathy calls. "Did you run away again?"

"What does she mean by again? You ran away." Christina asked. I nodded.

"Long story, which I don't have time for. Talk to you later." I opened the bathroom door. "I'm here!" I walked to Kathy to see what was going on.

"EXO!!" I gasped. I ran to the TV.

"This way!" She pulls me away from the TV.

"Why am I back here again?" I complained as she unlocks the door of the recording room.

"Do you not want my help?" She asked me. I shook my head.

"I do I do!" I dragged her inside.

"I don't want to admit it, but I bias you." She says to me. "I'm going to make sure you win."
