14: beginning to the end

"I.." They all looked at me.

"Take your time." Christina smiles, knowing the news I'm about to share. The group nodded and agreed.

"We're a group. We always got each other's backs." Hyemi smiles.

"I kissed Baekhyun." I blurted. They all gave me shocked looks. "I really really like him. I think he really really likes me too."

"No matter what you do. You can't get caught." Areum says to me. "They kicked out so many trainees because of dating scandals."

"Yeah, we can't lose you." Cerlina smiles at me. I look over at Christina. Christina looks at me.

"Kyungsoo and I are secretly dating!" Christina semi-yells. She covers her mouth.

"Secretly." Hyemi emphasizes.

"Yeah." Christina chuckles. "Secretly."

"Who knows about this? And how long?" Jihyun asks.

"Only you guys and.. pretty long." I shrugged, not sure of the timing.

"Same." Christina nods.

"And why didn't you tell us?" Alina asks.

"Well.. I thought you guys would be mad at me."

"No no no! Why would we be mad?? Congrats on catching the superstar's eyes." Yujin winks at me. We all laughed.

I'm glad to have such supportive friends around me.

"We're adding a new member to our group." Manager Park says. "Everyone, this is Angel."

"Moon?!" I yelled.

"Janice?!" Angel, Moon, Or whatever yells back at me.

"You know her?" Melody asks.

"You don't?" Mimi rolls her eyes. "Angel, can you step outside for a second." Angel does as she says.

"Manager Park, you can't add her in our group!" I said. "She destroyed the Rookie Star Show, she can destroy our group!"

"Do you all not see how you're doing? There's nothing to destroy! Incandescent is taking all the spotlight away from you girls. I'm positive both groups are going to be nominated for Rookie of the Year and we HAVE to win it. The only way is to add a controversial member in our group, then we get rid of her." Manager Park says.

"Or she can destroy the reputation of our group and we can continue doing worst and end up being the worst group in the history of kpop." I stammer.

"Don't worry, Janice. I got this. I'm experienced, I know how the kpop world works. Trust me. Just follow along and we will get rid of those Incandescent girls. Now, we just have to find a way to get featured with them and we'll be fine."

"I mean, I can ask my friends." Manager Park looked at me. It's like he just came up with the perfect idea.

"What friends?" He asked.
