Tonight is the night of the interviews.
All twenty-four tributes will be interviewed by Caeser. The interviews go for around 3 minutes.
Today we will be preparing for the interviews. Peeta and Haymitch will help Prim and I figure out what angle we want to run with.
Prim and I sit in the sitting room, waiting to be joined by Haymitch and Peeta.
"So what angle do you want?" I ask Prim.
"I honestly have no idea. I'm more hoping they will give me one which I can run with." She tells me.
"Yeah. Same."
We have been sitting here for about twenty-five minutes. Haymitch and Peeta are nowhere to be seen.
"Sorry we're so late." I hear Peeta say from behind me.
"We had trouble thinking of angles for you to go with." Haymitch tells us.
"But we think we have a plan." Peeta finishes.
"We're listening." Prim says with a hint of attitude.
"Well first of all. Prim." Peeta starts, "We want you to go with the shy and sweet angle, with a twist."
"The capitol killed your sister. She survived the games, and she was killed anyway." Haymitch says bluntly, "Be sad sweet. Suck it up. Use the fact they killed her to make them feel sorry for you."
"The audience already loves you. Be yourself, and really use what they did to help you." Peeta finishes.
"So basically you want her to use what they did against them? You want her to make them feel sorry for her, and feel hate for the capitol?" I half accuse half ask.
"Well thats where your angle comes in." Haymitch smirks.
"You are going to try and make known the fact that Katniss may have," Peeta starts, but chokes when he starts to talk about Katniss.
"Thats Katniss may have been killed, but will never die. The idea, the things she did, the image she was, will never die." Haymitch finishes.
"To show that Katniss died for a cause. But she will never die at heart? Her cause will only grow?" I ask.
"Yes. You will help us keep Katniss' flame alive." Peeta tells me.
Seeing Cinna and Portias creations is amazing. Prim and I stand along side them staring at the two beautiful dresses. ( PICTURE > > > > > )
The dresses are the same shape and style. But the colours are different. One is a beautiful yellow with a touch of red and orange thrown in colour and the other a nice red with a hint yellow and orange.
The dresses are both sleeveless and go to about mid thigh. The back continues to flow to just bellow ankle length. The skirt of the dress is flowy. The top of the dress is covered in gold sparkles and sequins.
The dresses are both amazing. They both have gold, strapy, platform gladiator stilettos to match.
"The dresses are a material, for when you more the yellow and orange and red, depending on which dress, will give the audience an optical illusion, so it looks like the material is moving, giving it a slight fire look." Portia tells us.
"We made the dresses with Prim in mind for the yellow, and Crimson in mind with the red. But you can sort it out between yourselves." Cinna suggests.
I look at Prim, "You pick."
"Um, I'm happy to go with what Portia and Cinna originally had in mind." Prim says. Portia picks up the yellow dress, and as she carries it away i can see what they mean when they said 'fire look'.
"So I am going to have your hair curled, you will wear it down with a thin red headband." He tells me.
