"Kylo Ren!" General Hux roared.
He sent him a menacing glare. He wasn't going to deal with his bullshit now that the First Order's base had been destroyed by the Resistance.

He also wasn't going deal with the fact that his face was now cut up, wounded by a weak and clueless girl.

He marched down to his quarters, dragging his helmet along with him. He needed sleep, he had failed his mission. He had failed to retrieve Luke Skywalker's lightsaber.

Kylo Ren dropped down on his bed, taking his helmet in his hands and examining it as if it were made of some rare metal from a different galaxy. His fingers brushed over the metal, gazing up at mirror-like armor, catching a glimpse of his cut-up face before hurling it against the opposite wall.

He wasn't going to throw another fit. He was tired of being angry, even if anger is what makes the Dark side in him stronger. He needed to feel the pull, because he wasn't going to turn to the Light side now that he has already killed the person who tried, and failed.

He undresses and lies on his bed, staring at the ceiling above him. The red eerie glow of the room and the hovering smell of sweat and metal made him loose his ability to think properly, he needed to be out, where the real battle is.

He dressed back into his armor and returned to the base that General Hux had decided to flee to while repairs on the new First Order's base was in order. He surely hoped it wasn't going to be another Death Star. It failed twice, it will fail again and again.

"Kylo Ren, do not ignore me." General Hux demanded when he walks into the make-shift control room.

"What is it, Hux?" He winces for a moment, the wound on his side was bothering him after the recent battle.

"Supreme Leader Snoke wants to talk to us."

He shudders, Snoke will be the least of his problems. He still needs to know what that girl from The Resistance is capable of, especially with her limited knowledge of The Force. What was her name again? Rey.

"I have to be at battle. We can congregate with Snoke later."

"There is no battle for you outside these walls."

"There will be." His voice turned menacingly quiet. "I'll be back later. They have the map to Skywalker, I need to make sure they don't find him." And with that final warning to Hux, he runs out back towards the woods, camouflaging against the trees nearing the rebel base.

He watches under the canopy of tall trees, their shadows making him look invisible. He spots the Millennium Falcon, which had been that girl's recent escape after their little encounter together. His hand brushes over the slash on his face, over his helmet. Their battle wasn't over yet.

Ahh, there she is. She was sharing a moment with the General...his fucking mother. She knows what he did to his father, The Force is strong in his family not to miss that eventful moment.

He stood there, waiting for their little encounter to rap up. He wished he could just run up and cut up her face but he knew he was out numbered, and with a base this big, he wasn't going get out alive even with a surprise attack.

She parted with General Organa eventually and heads towards, what looks like her quarters on the other side of the camp. He hastened his pace, following her from the shadows before she stops in her path. She looks around, as if she felt someone following her. Shit. Kylo Ren retreated deeper into the forest, avoiding to be seen. Rey's hand brushes over the lightsaber that protectively hung on her belt.
