I laughed as he lifted me up to shoot the ball

My phone buzzed and it was my boyfriend...Mark

Toni: hello?

Mark: where you at?

Toni: I'm at the park with Jay

Mark: you still hanging out with him? Wow

Toni: mark he's my best friend and my only friend at that

Mark: whatever. Ima see you later

He hung up and I sighed

Jordan: I see yo dude still trippin

Toni: yeah. I don't care though.

Jordan: Let's get you home safely ms.toni

I got on his back as he walked going to my house

I was lowkey happy she was with me all day. She doesn't know but I like her a lot. Since we was in 3rd grade. I couldn't tell her because I was her " bestfriend" and I think she doesn't even like me. Right when I came to her house mark was on the porch

Mark: Toni we gotta talk

He yanked her off me and I got mad

Jordan: yo man chill don't pull her arm like that

I pushed him out the house and ran upstairs. When I got out the shower Jay FaceTimed me

Jordan: what's up?...yo you okay?

Toni: yeah why?

Jordan: yo face red...that nigga touched you?

Toni: no he didn't. I wasn't looking and the basketball hit my face

Toni: I know you miss me. That's why you called

Jordan: nah I'm bored and wanted to check on you Toni

            I'm tired of mark. To be honest.... I like Jay but he doesn't like me back.

Toni: so we're still on for tomorrow?

Jordan: yeahh definitely. Ima come pick you up.

Toni: don't worry about mark either.

Jordan: I ain't. Yo nigga just jealous of our relationship. Ya know?

Toni: yeah. See you at school though.

He yanked my arm walking to his locker. I seen Jay walkin' in and I wiped my tears away

I looked back at mark and covered the bruise on my wrist

Jordan: yo what's up? Why you crying?

Jordan: you didn't meet me yesterday teezy

Toni: im okay..

He hugged me and started whispering in my ear
