5 He saved us because of his mercy, not because of any good things we did. He saved us through the washing that made us new people. He saved us by making us new through the Holy Spirit.

If we baptize and become bornagain. its just means that we accept God in our life us our Lord and Savior. And if we accept God in our life we are now clean from our sin. Now we are clean we should not go back from our old life, we should be new person. we should not do the worng things that we do in our past life because God save us from our sin.
