Disclaimer

Any and all characters or objects resembling real life people or events is purely coincidental. This is a fictitious novel and all characters are originally made by me with inspiration from the classical Greek Mythos. I do not own any content from these old stories as cool as that would be!

Prose

If you are familiar with my work, then you know my prose is third person omniscient. I will not make obvious changes in points of views; they will happen seamlessly. If you feel confused, please feel free to let me know in the comment section.

This is a purely fantastical epic novel with romantic themes, slight comedy, and violence. There will be epic battles and fights as well as tragic moments.

Important: Most of the characters are based on mythological heroes, so you will see familiar names from Greek Mythology. Nevertheless, this the only thing I have used as my inspiration. The rest (quirks, personality, appearances, abilities, etc.) is all originally made with slight references to the myth. There will be similar stories but tweaked to fit the plot and some may vary completely.

In addition, as you may have guessed by the name, this is a purely inspired book on the epic stories of Greek Myths.

In regards to writing, inner thoughts are represented with one quotation mark (') and italics. Regular dialogue and/or speech is represented with the usual twin quotation marks ("). Anything special (such as psychic communication, inner voices, speaking in animal forms or the like, etc.) is expressed with one or two quotation marks (dependent on whether it is speech being worded out loud or inner thoughts) italics, and bold letters. This is to quickly let you know what the character is going through as sometimes it can get a bit complicated to write about certain fantastical situations. Think about how a human would speak to their inner self that happens to be a dog or something; it tends to get very confusing.

Flashbacks

If occurring within a present scene, they are represented in italics (the above rules apply just that the italics is used to symbolize a past event that is being reminisced in present time); otherwise, the word flashback will cut off the scene to commence the memory.

Scene Breaks

When there is a complete change in scenes that cannot be done seamlessly, it will be represented with a series of asterisk symbols (~~********~~). They may or may not be accompanied by other characters, but you will understand when you see it.

Themes

Some of these may or may not appear, but they are the following:

Steampunk

Magic

Romance

Supernatural

Violence

Gore

Action

Drama

Comedy

Tragedy

Adventure

War

Quotes

Those who are familiar with my work know that I will tend to set the tone of every chapter with a famous quote. Usually, they are taken from songs that I feel are perfect for the feel of the chapter or they maybe inspirational quotes from famous people of history. Seldom times you will see original quotes of mine. You can ignore them or regard them as foreshadowing, since there will be times that a quote may be a clue to future chapters.

Lastly, I amcurrently a graduate student so updates may be slow, but I will work hard on getting them out.

Thanks for the support, and enjoy!
