Logan's POV:

This is what it feels like having your heartbroken from the first girl you've actually liked, huh? I've always liked Laura.. And I've never really thought of it as brotherly love. Wait! Did I just say that? Damn it! I've got it bad.

Ugh! I hate how I feel! I need to talk about this with someone.. I mean I definitely cannot go to Alex, he's Laura's brother! And Laura's out of the question. I can't really ask her to be my friend and the go back to being mad at me so I can be mad at her.

Wow, I'm sounding like a girl. I need help! I guess the only person left is Alison. She's probably jobless, it is saturday after all.

I knocked on Alison's door. As predicted, she opened.

"Open up, Ali'! I need someone to talk to!"

She silently nodded and further opened up the door.

"Don't you usually talk to Laura? What brings you here?"

"This isn't a conversation I can have with Laura.." I shrug and sit on her living room couch. "No one's home, right?"

"Nope. Did you finally tell her that you liked her?" She asked nonchalantly.

"Wait, how did you know that?"

"Logan, you've changed a lot since Laura and Alex moved to Connecticut. And I'm pretty sure that even my little brother could see through you and say that you like Laura."

It's true, I have changed. All because of Laura. They're actually the only proper friends I've had. Everyone wanted to be friends with me only because everyone in high school's fascinated by the concept of jocks. It wasn't always fun and games.

"But Alison, we weren't friends before they moved here."

"I might have been your little creepy stalker back then..."

"So, you had a crush on me, huh?" I smirked.

"Psh.. It was in 8th grade. I mean who remembers 8th grade?" She laughed.

"How did you become friends with all of us?" My curiosity got the better of me. How did Alison join our little circle. If it weren't for Laura, we all would've never been friends. Ah why is she the only thing that's going on in my mind!

"Logan, more than that, you wanted to talk to me, right? What is it? What's bothering you?"

I told her everything. From the part where we first kissed to the part where she broke my heart.

"Logan," she started. "From what you tell me, Laura's never liked you. I mean, when observing both of you, you seemed into her. But it doesn't look like she ever felt anything for you." Ouch.

"You were observing us?" I laughed trying to brush away what she said. "Besides, she wasn't drunk when she kissed me in the park.."

"She was just using you, Logan. Besides, Laura likes...Walter."

"Wait, who's Walter?" She likes someone? Was she really using me? No! How could I be this stupid?

"Just some guy in our class.."

"What class?" I don't even know why I asked that. No, I should probably leave. I don't want to like this?

"Doesn't matter," she shrugged and came closer to me. "The point is, Logan, you shouldn't have to wait."

"Thanks Ali'. For everything."

"Don't mention it." She replied coming to give me a hug. She wrapped her arms around and gave me a tight hug.
