The Maze of Shaded Memories pt 2

Rouges pov

I am immediately bombarded by the shadows looking around it looked like they were pushing the lighter shadows away. I was under attack from (y/n)s memory, all these things I'm seeing, I cant believe what I am seeing...how is she still alive and so strong after this all.
Surrounded by her screams and cries and visions of her terrors, I start to break, the memory I hold so dear to my heart is starting to fade. I can't do this. Blood dripping out of wounds all over me I start to let the shadows take me and then I hear some one scream my name.

Your pov
I can smell him, he is here he came!!I cant believe it! Im about to call out again when a familiar black shadow makes contact with me and instead of calling his name I scream...this time I pass out the pain is too much. Before completly passing out I hear a low growl and feel myself being surrounded by warmth.

Rouges pov

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!!" I yell completly aware again. I have to keep my focus I cant let this magic take you away from me! Looking around I scramble to find something, anything that would help and I see it the silver shadow from before! her good memory. Taking a deep breath I reach for it and I am sumberged in warmth and I am submerged in her memory.

Waking up in the middle of the night I look around to see what woke me up. I see the moon shining in brightly, I get up and close the black satin curtians. Walking back to bed and laying down I can't help but be happy. Rouges warm body rolls over and he wraps his arms around me pulling me close. I snuggle into his neck, I feel the blankets at my feet move and I look down to see Willow and Froshe snuggled up with happy sleeping faces. I can't believe we were so lucky to find Rouge and Froshe. I sigh and look back at Rouge, squirming up a bit I give him a kiss on the cheek before I go back to sleep. In barely a whisper I hear Rouge say the words that now give me the strength to go on. Without even opening his eyes he hugs me tighter and says "I love you" I feel a blush on my face and I whisper back to him" I love you too Rouge" and just before I fall back into my sleep I see his rare smile. That night for the first night since I can remember I had good dreams.

Coming back into reality I am shocked at the memory. The brightest strongest memory of hers is of me!! I thought that was a dream but it was real!she does love me! " Im coming (y/n)! Don't worry these shadows wont hurt you for much longer!" I yell into the nothingness of the shadows.
And thats when I hear it, a low growl and the strongest power I have felt in a very long time. I start running towards the growl not worrying about what the shadows do to my body anymore. What was that! I think to myself as I run. Running through the memories getting quick glimpses of the pain and sorrow of her life and the very infrequent happy memory with willow. Wait where are all her memories of Gortana? There should be tonns of silver memories around! Ill worry about that later, right now I just need to push forward.

Stings Pov
" this is taking a long time, I hope they are okay..I keep hearing them yelling...and what was that growl it made the whole ground shake." I say to Willow who is sitting beside me worried. I hear some soft sniffles and I lool down and I see Froshe sitting beside Willow with tears in her eyes. " hey Froshe they will be okay. Dont worry they are both very strong." Froshe smiled up at me and her sniffles slowed down. " I hope we can get (y/n) back to her human form...she was always afraid the demon would take over one day and should would be alone forever." My eyes grew wide with shock at what the little exceed was saying. " don't worry Willow, Rouge said she looked beautiful in her demon form, no matter how she looks he will always love her." I say to her with a smile and I pick up her and Froshe and put them in my lap with Lector for comfort. Come on Rouge I know you can do this!!

Your pov

I wake up and I feel warm, I look around thinking maybe I had been saved but I still see the shadows surrounding me and I start to cry.
"Hush child no need to worry I will protect you for as long as I can. I feel part of your soul heading this way to save you." I spin around shocked at the familliar voice. "Where are you! Why can't I see you? Mom!?! Gortana!!? What did you mean by my soul is on its way? I'm scared" I yell out confused and upset. "Hush it will all be over soon. You can't see me because I have just sent over my energy to surround you and protect you, I am sorry I could not be here in the flesh but right now it is too dangerous. But soon we will be reunited. (Y/n) what I said about your soul being on the way it is how we dragons refer to soulmates. This dragon slayer you have coming to save you he is your soulmate. Who is he child?" Tears of happiness are falling down my face now. " Rouge, his name is Rouge Cheney. He is also a Shadow Dragon Slayer, his dragon was Skiadrum. Gortana I'm afraid, the katana you gave me its broken and I can't get back into my human form. I don't know how they did it. I was The Devils Haste guild again. They did this to me." I say to her a sad and afraid tone to my voice. I look up when I hear a chuckle Gortanas ghostlike hand takes hold of the sword and with her spiritual energy she somehow mends the break. After setting it down she extends over to me and puts a claw above my heart and a bright light shines, she put me back to my human form!! My wings are gone along with my scales and claws and everything...that I can see. " That is all I can do for now child, the fix to the sword is only a quick fix I will take it for now and get it mended. But your body will now only change at your will, I have been searching over the years to find a way to help you and I am happy to see it has payed off. The only thing that wont change is your eye, the left eye it seems wont change back to normal but oddly it suits you hahaha. Now I need to focus on protecting you the closer he gets to you the more the spell tries to attack you. I love you and I will see you again soon"
And with that Gortana stopped talking and I could feel the strain on her magic, oh Rouge please hurry.

Rouges pov

Torture, agony, depression, pain, loneliness, hate, anger, longing. These are all glimpses of her past that I see, I can feel tears streaming down my face as I see all these pained memories of hers. " They ahould all be happy and memories full of love not this!" I yell out as I keep running. I look around and I see something odd, the shadows are all converging in one area and attacking? THAT MUST BE WHERE SHE IS!! I look down and see my shirt is in peices not really even there and my pants are not much better I have cuts all over my body most are deep and allot are small painful ones. I dont know how I will make it through the wall of shadows. I learned early that going into the shadow realm only makes it allot worse. All of a sudden I feel warm and I hear a voice. " I dont have the time or energy to explain but I will surround you so that you can get through that wall to (y/n). Once you are through you two have to run out as fast as you can I cannot protect you for much longer so hurry and go now!" With out hesitation I take off into the shadows and when I break through I see (y/n) there sitting in her human form. "(Y/N)!!!! I'M HERE!!" I run up to her as she gets up and runs to me. " I knew you would, I was so afraid but then I heard you yelling my name and I had hope." She had started crying so I grabbed her and held her close for a moment. I can't help myself when I feel her warm body against mine after all this so far I push her back a few steps into the tree and crush my lips against hers. I hear her squeak in suprise but I can't help it I just keep pushing into the kiss as she kisses me back.

Your pov

Rouge started pushing back until my back hit the tree I look up confused and he quickly crushes his lips against mine. I squeak in suprise but then I cant help but to go along with it. Our lips moving together, I feel Rouge bite my lip so softly causeing me to moan letting his tongue inside. His one hand makes its way into my hair holding me there and his other hand at my lower back pulling my hips tight to his. Breaking quickly for a breath we both laugh as we hear Gortanas voice start yelling at us to run. With a smile he grabs my hand and we make a mad dash through the shadows that seem to never end. We finally reach the edge as we feel her power start to wear off. We push harder and finally we break through to the outside, I see Sting sitting there with Willow, Froshe and Lector. "Good bye for now (y/n) remember what I said and Rouge take care of her for me. I love you child" and with those final words her energy was gone along with my katana.
Rouge and I go to take a step and both of us fall flat on our faces and with a smile and hand in hand we pass out on the ground from sheer exhaustion.

Stings pov

" just friggin great! Now I have to get you both back to the guild" and with a sigh and the help of the exceeds I take them back to Fairytail. They are in for quite the recovery and suprise when they wake up, I think to myself.

Erzas pov

" okay guys thats the last of them. Now lets get back to the guild and hope Rouge was able to get (y/n) to safty!" She yelled as she threw the last of The Devils Haste guild into their cells at the magic council. I hope they made it out alive.

So yes I know its been a long time! But here is part two!! The story is slowly going start coming to an end.
