Chapter 28- Meeting Raj

Ranveer's POV:

"Who the hell was this bloody moron? How dare he want to marry MY girl!" I fumed.

Earlier in the day, Priyanka had asked me to control myself when Raj and his family would be here, but it got harder and harder to do so.

I wanted to snap his neck in half! Just wait until he comes. I will teach him a lesson that he will be sorry to learn.

Raj's POV:

Today, we were going to go see a girl that my mother had approved for me. I had seen her picture and was shocked! She was so pretty! She had mesmerizing, brown eyes and long, luscious brown hair with lighter brown highlights.  There was also another girl in the picture. However she was not as pretty as Priyanka. I was so excited to meet her.

I quickly got dressed and hurried downstairs with my car keys. Mom was waiting downstairs with me. We left soon after we said goodbye to my dadi. I drove to her house which was only about half an hour away from ours.

When we reached, Priyanka's family welcomed us at the door. They quickly ushered us in and told us to sit on the plush, white couches.

As soon as we sat, a maid came and served us water in a chilled glass. I sat there sipping my glass of water, waiting for Priyanka to show up. I turned my head to look around the house and was surprised to see a guy glaring at me.

He appeared to be in his early twenties. He looked pretty muscular. Someone who's bad side you didn't want to be on. He was wearing a maroon hoodie with dark blue jeans underneath. His hair hair was gently gelled up and he looked like a model. He was looking at me with a murderous glare as if he was about to light me on fire.

"Raj, this is my beloved daughter Priyanka." A woman said which I think was Priyanka's mom.

I looked up at the stairs and saw my angel walking down the chairs. She was clad in a purple saree. Her hair was blowing slightly from the wind which was coming from the open window. There was another girl also walking down beside her but I didn't pay heed to her.

She reached the bottom of the stairs and obediently went to stand behind the couch her parents were sitting on. Unfortunately, that creepy man that was glaring at me, was standing right beside her. For some reason, I had a feeling that he wasn't her brother. He didn't look anything like her but I had to admit, they looked cute together.

Just then, something greatly shocked me. That guy wrapped his arm around Priyanka's waist and brought her closer to himself. I looked around to check to see if anyone else noticed but everyone else was busy talking. I looked back at them and saw Priyanka lean forward and wrap her arms around his neck. He smiled at her and kissed her temple. I looked around again. Everyone else was sitting with their backs to them. I turned my head back to focus on Priyanka and the guy with her. Now, the guy was nuzzling her neck. Priyanka was smiling while a beautiful red tint decorated her cheeks. I had had enough. I had to say no to this wedding. I couldn't marry Priyanka if she had someone else in her heart. I owed her that much.

What would be going on in her mind when the proposal came from my family? Wouldn't she be feeling heartbroken?

I couldn't do this to her or even that guy. Whoever he was, I knew that he deeply loved her and would always keep her happy. And if she was happy, I was happy. I would say no to this marriage.

Helllooooo!!! Sorry for not updating for so long. I had so many exams and quizzes so I was very busy. So because of that, this was a longer update.
