I wanna go away
To a faraway place
Where my dreams are safe
And my heart will never break
Where no one knows
What I've done or who I've been
Where no one knows
Of my darkest sins
Where the setting is new
And the faces are too
Where my demons don't come
To bother me and you
The skeletons
I left in my closet at home
I'm going to a place where I'll never feel alone
I'm not running away
Just leaving it behind
I believe the time for me has come
To say my final goodbye
To the place I know
And once loved
More than anything beyond and above
Now I am sad here
I often just cry
I'm starting to believe everything's a lie
This place I imagine
I hope it exists
I hope I can get there
By plane train or ship
Someday, one day
Maybe soon
I will go somewhere
Where I can bloom
