Some days you make me want to scream at the sun
But I know I'd never speak again if you were ever gone
I used to think i was better off alone
But now you're the only thing in my heart set in stone
The warmth of your body next to mine is always enough
I always thought I knew what love meant but you went beyond and above
The tenderness of your kiss is nothing less than divine
You are the only thing I ever needed to call mine
Even your softest touch even after all this time
You still manage to somehow give me deep butterflies
When you run your fingertips down my spine I can't help but shiver
Your love keeps me warm even on the coldest darkest night of this New Jersey winter
When I'm without you my body aches for your touch
I've never felt so close to someone than when we make love
The things I feel for you shock me that I can still feel so deep
I couldn't rid the insomnia for years but when you hold me at night is the only time I get deep peaceful sleep
The fear of losing you scares me and makes me want to close right back up again
But you were the one who opened me up, you were the one I let in
When you hold me is the only time i really believe that everything will be alright
Your arms around me tight is my medicine to go to sleep at night
Listening to your heart beat in your chest reminds me why mine is still going
I think 'I couldn't possibly love him anymore' but it only just keeps growing
Waking up to your kisses makes me think maybe mornings aren't so bad after all
I'm not scared because you always catch me when I fall
I never thought I wanted to feel this I never thought I needed anyone
You showed me how to love and see that life better sharing it with someone
You make me cry scream smile laugh & love all in the same day and you're the only one who can
It's crazy to look back and remember how it all began
The things we've been through together are things I only want to share with you
But I know it's all made us stronger because we always make it through
I'm sorry that I mess up and and I'm sorry that I'm sad
I'm sorry if I ever made you question how much I love you and I'm sorry for making you mad
Just know that no one on this earth could take the place in my heart you have
And just know ill be here for you as long as you want me to be
Whether it's good or its bad or its happy or its sad.
