The First I Never Had

Part 2

"I-I'm so sorry about that." It's Karlie I can't believe this. It's actually her. My heart starts to beat strongly, my emotions are all mixed up. Sam where are you when I need you?!

"It's okay, by bad-" She paused. "Taylor? Is that really you?!" She smile that I've badly missed finally showed up. Her smile is so infectuous that I smiled back.

"It is you!" She said as she considered my smile as a yes.

 "I don't know if you remember me-" Oh I remember you.  "but I'm Karlie, Karlie Kloss? I was your lab partner in almost all of the science classes." 

"Yeah! Karlie how can I forget." I smiled. We both hugged tightly for a few seconds, for me it felt longer than that. It was really overwhelming that I can feel my face hurt from smiling.

"Oh! I'm glad that you remembered me." Sighing with relief as Karlie pulls out from the hug. "I didn't know if a lot of people would remember me, since I've been out of school because of my job." She said "So, what have you been up to lately?"

"Oh-uhm I'm doing fine actually. SInce my tour is over I get to be on break which good time to attend this reunion." I'm really greatful that it really did.

How about you? Still modeling?" She laughed

"Yeah, I still do, but I also do some baking business and some coding at the side." Her smile is so contagious. I can't help it I simply just smiled back.

"That sounds great! I bet you're still busy as always." I replied 

"Sort of but since my modeling contract is done for this year, I'm just going to wait for my next modeling contract." She explained. "Well enough about me how about you? What have you been doing during your break?" I can through her expression how curious she is to knowing me. 

"Well I'm still making some my music. Most of the the time I play with my pets and do some binge watching.. yeah I-I'm kind of chilling right now." Gawd! Why do I have to mention about the binge watching, now she thinks I'm a couch potato slob. She chuckled and sighed as she looks at me.

"Man, I remember you scribbling words or phrases, that aren't lab notes, in your notebook during lab. Even humming some tunes while your at it." She laughed, but I was starting to flushed.

"W-what?? Oh gawd. I'm really sorry about that. Was I a bother to you?" I can feel my cheeks starting to red. and my voice to weaken. "I tried to be discreet at that." I put my hand to cover up my face remembering those sessions.

Those lab sessions where I get to be with her. Those were the times when I felt so happy, and inspired to write how I feel and imagine being with you in those poems.

"Hey don't take it the wrong way." She tried to comfort me."Actually that made those boring sessions interesting." She says with a assuring smile. Being sweet as always. 

Then I heard Sam arrive as he wiped his wet hands with his "Thanks Tay for waiting, sorry I took so-" Sam paused "Oh hello." smiling as he was looking at us.

"Karlie, remember Sam?, Sam remember Karlie Kloss?" Me trying to call I'm trying to keep my shit together. I looked at Sam where Karlie doesn't see my face making some eye contact to Sam "Help me here!"

"Hi Karlie, nice to meet you. I remember you being the girl who goes to other countries because of modeling during the weekends" "Wow! you really are stunning in real life." He said as he gave me a discreet grin.

"Yeah.. I'm known to be that girl." She shrugged. I sense something's bothering with her. "And thank you for saying that" Refering to Sam's last statement.
